What's wrong with the war MODs?

I don't recall saying you weren't allowed to say what you said - interesting how you immediately act defensive after just being asked a question.

Comments like "Staff members are bad1!1!!" and "Staff need to actually do their jobs!1!!!" do nothing but demotivate any good staff members we may have. Any bad staff members we may have would just ignore them because they don't care; it only effects the good staff, and it does so in a negative way. It's counter-intuitive, disrespectful and quite ironic that those who have the highest expectations of staff are also the ones who demotivate staff the most. It's almost as if they're hypocritical, in fact.

Yes, but there are plenty of staff who do their jobs. When they come on the forums and then see the community criticising them for something they're not even doing, it's really demotivating.

Also, it's not that we can't take criticism. I've completely changed the way I've moderated in the past and probably will again in the future based purely on community feedback. However, when I get on the forums and see that so many people just don't even care about me doing my job, it makes me wonder why I bother - especially when I see staff being treated so great by the community on other servers when they arguably have a much less tougher job.

If I leaked every recording that has been posted in #moderators since I got mod, I could probably give you about 100 hours of footage. Not to mention, usually only 20% of a recording is actually relevant since most of the time people are just running around and not actually doing anything that could indicate xraying.

I'll be the first to admit that there are some staff who aren't fulfilling their role properly but again, generalising this as being "most staff" is both completely inaccurate and counter-intuitive.
