the issue in brawl v2

Since my last thread actually led to some sort of change, i'm going to do this again. This quote is taken from a different thread by @Evan19119 about his constant false bans.



A simple CONSTANT misjudgment, when there's constant error in a program, you look at it and you fix it. Brawl is NOT doing that in any way sort or form. I didn't wanna put anyone on blast but I have to for the sake of this thread and for my argument to seem valid.
Incativity -

GreanPeas took 3 MONTHS of inactivity for his rank to be taken away. Cuddled's last join was literally June of last year and her rank is yet to be taken. I get that she's one of the older staff members who probably worked hard for her rank and has a good friendship with everyone but promote someone else to admin/staff manager as she is not making a return anytime soon. roke as much as I dislike him, is probably one of the admins who actually deserves his rank as he constantly does work hard for it w/ some minor errors with his own staff team. Aboves, yet again another staff member that's gone inactive with logins every now and then although his hours on are quite low. He's been doing this for quite some time now but hey he still has his rank. Tortugas, he was active when he was JMOD and then slowly became incative overtime once he got mod. TheTitaniumTitan, he's been JMOD for several months and his last login was ALSO last year, he went inactive right around september and yet he still has his rank. Blamo, his last login being over a month ago. wintergreen3, mod since 2015, I feel as if there's an issue there... Snail_5_, he's quite literally always in a ts channel by himself and he literally never replies to pm's, one of the more inactive mods i've met in my time of playing. Overkilll_, another player that was active during his time of applying for JMOD but slowly he became inactive overtime with logins from time to time to just barely keep his staff rank, should've been demoted quite some time ago. Doges, another player who logs in every now and then to just hold onto his staff rank but does not do much for the server on a constant basis. I did not want to put this last one in as he's quite a good friend of mine but, trogs. Trogs went inactive a long time ago and will occasionally get on teamspeak and maybe ingame every now and then, this is probably due to him actually having a life which is respectable but his rank should be taken away regardless, love you trogs <3.



Before anyone uses the same old ****ty excuse, "oh boy he has school oh no ;((((" if the player is unable to put in the same amount of playable hours as when they applied, their rank should not be valid as it's a mere waste of a spot on a staff team. You could always say, oh it doesn't matter people can always just apply for staff why are you bringing these players up, less staff members there are, the higher the demand on staff members which would lead to some applicants being accepted quicker or being accepted in general when they may not have been chosen due to the massive staff team. Not only that, but it also helps current staff members get a promotion,

Promotions-

@JAYGT being one of the staff members that needs a promotion, he's put in a lot of hard work towards brawl and WarZ in general, has had multiple updates pushed out and actually listens to the community on a constant basis. He is quite literally one of the ONLY active mods on WarZ which has needed an SMOD for quite some time. While promoting him to SMOD, promoting @NMHRODMAN1SBEST to JMOD would be a good choice to take his spot as he's probably one of the only good candidates who actually still cares about this server. I'm not going to make this thread only about WarZ, @NickManEA although I consider him one of those "tryhards" and i've called it out before, he seems like a good candidate and actually deserves it. Just loosen up whenever you get staff please, just don't be stuck up. @DaddyPurest one of the only hard working mods on party. @Eil this one pains me as i'm not your biggest fan but, you put A LOT of hard work into this server and should be up there with the other admins since you're probably one of the only staff members really holding this server together, so even if we have our differences, thank you for that. @Fuiji has put countless hours into wildwest and basically runs the server, he's quite literally the @JAYGT of wildwest. He's done map updates and has had the economy worked on. @GalaThundR, is a genuine person that deserves smod on build. Although miskey is the current smod I believe he should be replaced by Gala since he seems to be a lot more motivated to work on build and ONLY build which shows his dedication towards build as a whole. He's not like some other staff members who butt into other servers and constantly creates an error on the server. One example would be @Jul13n, two friends of mine were fooling around on WarZ where we acted as if we were xraying and were swinging at each other through a wall and then continued to state in chat that they were xraying as a joke which led to a whitename /reporting them which was brought to juliens attention who continued to ban one of my friends for xray. On WarZ you're not able to ban anyone off a statement due to there no being actual proof which he was not aware of.

 

It's due to them both making several mistakes which are put over most of the good they do for the server and yes, they have been the most inactive out of everyone.

 

I only had 1-2 people helping me list the inactive members + the poll only allowed a certain amount of options.

Multiple mods > 1 smod. Yes, having an smod for every gamemode will help and im trying to encourage that but that does not mean you have no power as a mod, you just need more people to stand w/ you.

I don't know enough about maryland, someone said he plays ctf now so he just needs a transfer. Doges is quite inactive and does nothing to help the server from that i've seen although at one point he did.

 

I've seen him on warz before and he actually did ban people except I recall that from back when I was permbanned.

 

Yeah I get that, there's some heated things between him and the staff team and there are some other things he could work on but currently he's one of the best choices for wildwest.
