CTF Video Idea List

Hey hey.
So, I pop in from time to time to see what's going on in here, and I see dwindling player counts and few media uploads from the old regs on youtube. I personally don't have time to make media for Brawl right now, but I have ideas floating around for stuff anyone else can take if they want.

(Pro tip: dating the video for this year gives an opportunity to update something that's already been done before and shows people it's new. If 2019 comes around and you don't feel like remaking it, just remove the date from the video title so it can still seem relevant.)



Suggested starting keyword list you can copypaste and add to:

Tbh @Miskey's old necro vids are one of the reasons I got into mcctf lol

He had a nice post for it and everything in the old mcpvp forums

 

Go for it imo. @b0squet expressed interest as well, maybe y'all could co-create something. Your memes plus his dry sass could be entertaining.

 

Yeah, more vids would be great for other gamemodes, but I think CTF has a very specific need to help newcomers at this point (since classes and gameplay have changed so much since 2012). I'm not as familiar with other gamemodes, so maybe someone familiar could start convos in those areas?

Some of my favorite CTF vids to watch are just people goofing off and having fun on the server. I think anyone can make things and upload them to their own channels, and if something turns out awesome it can always get featured later.

I can add the montage idea and the tip about playlists in later. Thanks for the suggestions.
