    Ok guys, so I was just wondering if brawl could be able to also support clients that run on 1.7.10 which would be nice as many other large servers run on 1.7.10. I don't know why brawl chose to support 1.8 onwards, but I think that it would be a really nice idea to allow clients with 1.7.10 to also go onto brawl. It would also help improve pvp, as 1.7 is reputed for being better suited to pvp. What would you think of this idea?

    We should indeed update to 1.9 and keep the 1.8 pvp system.
    So we can get larger groups of players

    Most pvp servers allow 1.7.10, and it could allow more players to join. Even though Brawl has the custom 1.7 hit registration, newer players on said client would not know that, they'd simply see that Brawl does not allow 1.7 and move on.
