    My gripe w/ medic heal is that it is a full respawn every 15 seconds, which is super strong and (imo) the #1 reason why stalemates are stalemates.

    If we nerf medic heal so that the regen isn’t as strong, healing doesn’t give back steak (but to counteract this steak could restore more hearts, etc.) w/e your ideal fix may be, then stalemates would decrease and problems such as archer can be dealt w/. As much as I do not like to say it, I do not believe that Archer can really be fixed until Medic heal is weaker. Archer is (imo again) the best way to end a stalemate, although difficult, so if we take that away w/o fixing medic it is a no go. Same w/ some of the other classes.

    Basically my point is that Medic heal is the stalemate causer.

    But, of course, lots of people don’t want Medic to be changed (w/e reason, go off..) so none of this is really an option right this moment as well as this is quite a major idea, but this bandaid fix works for now imo :smile:

    As long as we're tossing around ideas, why not: maybe make the medic cool down longer after each full heal on the flag carrier? Like the flag poison idea, but nerfing the support instead of the actual carrier. (If that was already an idea somewhere soz it was just the first thing that came to my mind)

    This is a really cool idea imo ( i think there was another idea somewhere which said to give back less steak each time, both are cool), but my only concern would be how would this be coded? I can see it being very difficult to stop all the different forms of abuse e.g. having more than one medic, passing flag to keep cooldown low, swapping who plays medic to keep cooldown low etc.

    Good old Mr. Redslime could probably prevent respawn abuse and class switching like with assassin, and if they pass the flag tbh that's an opportunity for ninjas to recover tbh. I like the train of thought with the less steak, I could honestly see either one of the ideas being tested (test them @redslime or riot)
