    As we all know getting a kill, recovering, capping and stealing flags gets you credits, well, here's my idea

    Crystal shards
    every time you get a kill(1)(carrier kill(3)), recover(3), cap(5), flag steal(1) or in this case shard collecting you would earn 1-10 crystal shards

    New (possible) classes for Crystal shards
    • Squirrel
    • fox
    Shard collecting
    every once in a while somewhere on the map a shard will summon, the first player to get to the shard must then take it back to a given location in his own teams side of the map, with him carrying a few de-buffs, he will be shown carrying the shard and people will try killing him to take the shard, if you get to the given location you would earn 10 crystal shards
    in a full time game there will be summond 10 crysals

    Fox

    Class: shard
    5000
    Armour leather dyed orange

    Inventory
    1. iron sword
    2. steak 4
    3. empty
    4.empty
    5.empty
    6.empty
    7.empty
    8.compass
    9.nether star

    Passive ability's
    Tail
    tail is a ability that has a 10% chance to block and deflect a incoming projectile and gives the player when sprinting straight forwards a 20% speed increase which beats regular sprinting + jumping

    Squirrel

    class: shard
    cost: 1000
    armour leather dyed orange/brown

    inventory
    1. iron sword
    2. acorn
    3. empty
    4. empty
    5. empty
    6. empty
    7. empty
    8. compass
    9. nether star

    Ability's
    climb
    the squirrel has the ability to climb walls by running at them
    Acorn
    the squirrel can either consume the acorn or throw it at an enemy. consuming heal the squirrel with 1 heart and throwing deals 1 heart of damage, acorn cooldown 3 seconds

    interesting naturalistic classes

    but i do really like the concept to have a mini-game within CTF itself - like there's a "center flag" or maybe even *cough* zone control point(s) that can give u special temporary buffs/rewards, or maybe make it so ur team can spawn at this new control point

    would certainly spicen up gameplay, just maps may need to be modified or new maps have this kept in mind (don't see a problem that all maps need to have this in them too...it can be like seeing the rare 5/5 cap maps instead of the 3/3)

    true, it would distrack people from playing the game and just going for the shard

    Credits are enough, I don't see the point in adding a new currency unless we're adding in something new to unlock. (E.g cosmetics)

    Also, the reward amounts are completely unbalanced in my opinion. You're getting the same amount of shards from 6 kills than you are from 1 cap, and getting 6 kills is much easier than capping. The fastest way to get shards here would be from getting as much kills as possible, which'd entice people away from playing the objective.

    This would also entice people away from playing the objective. Collecting shards would not give your team an advantage at all.

    Both classes have very poor damage output and very poor armour. Fox's healing is average and Squirrel has very poor healing.

    Tail's deflection ability is very weak, and we already have a very similar ability (Elf's reflection shield). 20% speed increase is also very minimal.

    Being able to climb walls by running at them is very similar to soldier's wall climb ability. The acorn is not going to give very good healing or a very good damage output - 1 heart of damage every 3 seconds is almost nothing compared to any other attack in the game.
