I had a similar situation when I was younger too Wintur! Except I was homeschooled my whole life until highschool, so you could say ctf helped me prepare for something completely different than what I was used to...And I always come back to this game because of the people <3

****, it's been another year? Damn, time flies.

Well whilst my will to play this game has largely went away, this community has been a place where I've met some truly great people in a time of my life when I didn't have many friends IRL. I definitely won't be forgetting many of you any time soon, for either good or bad (mostly good) memories. It's a really toxic community, yeah, but aren't they all? There's still a ton of really nice people here, and I feel bad that I haven't been able to get to know very well the majority of them.

Also, you're like 19 or 20 or something now idk exactly, but you're an adult, you don't need to be restricted by your parents anymore. Go out and live life to its fullest (or stay here and live CTF to its fullest, it's up to you).

Oh yeah, and my maths may be wrong but 2018-2013=5.

Knowing that some people actually genuinely look out for you even if you're not active or relevant to the community anymore. Still remember when @RTKno1 pmed me on the forums asking how things were going out of no where even when the last time we talked was like 2015. Thanks bro

just wanted to point that out

but either way, five or six years, thats over 1,825 days to be happy/proud about. When I said as to why I find it interesting how so many of us in the community are real people who are in college or have a job or have something really to actually do in their life, I was sort of saying that in a way like "so people who have actual lives and have actual things to do decide to spend their time on minecraft capture the flag," but hearing what you said I think differently. It seems that through this community, you have actually built as a real person and as a working member of society.

And to answer the question on what I have gained here on this server / game: a lot but also not a lot. Of course in terms of entertainment and whatnot, I've gained a lot, but in my life as a person on the internet, I would probably say that most of my experience (and learning the hard way) came from a different forum / minecraft community. But, perhaps it has given me a different personality away from the real world, like a persona. (cue Last Surprise) Like how everyone sorta does something beyond school or their job, like how people might lowkey be a music producer or something.
