Idea Quick Necro rework idea

    At the moment Necro is too slow for the game of CTF. A rework of the class will encourage more players to use it. It will also make the class more viable for PPMs/Officials.

    No spawner eggs, pickaxe, mob beacon or XP.
    Same armour, sword and steak.

    At 0 kills - Graveyard (Rotten Flesh)
    Once the rotten flesh is right clicked, the graveyard will be activated. Around the Necro a radius of 4/5 blocks of soul sand will be replaced. (Only for blocks that aren't restricted). The graveyard will last 10 seconds. Over the span of the 10 seconds 5 zombies will spawn at different locations of the soul sand. After the 10 seconds the soul sand will return to its original block. The cooldown of the graveyard will be 20 seconds.

    At 2 kills - Spider's nest (Spider eye)
    Once the spider eye is right clicked, anyone in the radius of 4/5 blocks the Necro will recieve blindness 1 for 3 seconds and also the Necro will get a speed 1 buff for 3 seconds. Once the Spider's nest is activated there will a spider noise that comes from the Necro to signal the activation. The cooldown of the Spider's nest will be 10 seconds.

    At 4 kills - Blaze Burst *New name option here lol* (Blaze rod)
    Once the Blaze rod is right clicked, anyone in the radius of 4/5 blocks of the Necro will be set on fire (Simular to pyro but no extra damage). The player will also be stunned for one second (similar to pure animation). The cooldown of the *Blaze Burst lol* will be 10 seconds. A sound effect can be added like an explosion, again simular to pyro to signal the activation.

    Whenever the ability is activated, the cooldown can be identified by the XP bar whenever holding the item.

    The lower killstreaks make the class more realistic, and makes it easier for all types of people able to get the abilities. The abilities will make the class more effective for PPM's/Officials.

    This rework seems good because the necro actually has abilities. However, the term necromancer refers to one who communicates to the dead via a medium. So for each of the abilities, (Spider's nest, and Blaze Burst) you should add Spiders and Blazes respectively. Also, try to make these based on xp bars instead of kills (so you can use graveyard automatically, Spider's Nest needs 2 xp bars and Blaze Burst needs 4 xp bars). The gaining of xp would be based on the same system as what it is currently for necro.
    After using each ability, half of the xp which is required for the ability to be activated will be lost (so using graveyard will lose no xp, but spider and blaze will lose 1 and 2 xp bars respectively. The cooldown can then be identified when you try to click the special items, and then a message will pop up saying 'Please wait y seconds until you can use this again' or something like that, might even be the scout message that displays during the swapper cooldown. Overall, pretty good rework, just try to implement some of these suggestions and i think necro will once more be a useful class.

    Cheers for the suggestions, although I'm trying to get away from this XP system idea. I prefer the abilities to be unlocked with kills and have cooldowns to keep the necro in the fight. However I do like the idea of the XP system for abilities, but I don't think this is the place for this rework.

    Do you mean killstreak or just kills? If it's ks then i think it needs to be changed, but if its kills then i think its fine that the special mobs need kills to be unlocked. So sorry if i criticised you or anything because for some reason i thought that you had to unlock the mobs through ks. Also, are the zombies ever going to despawn?

    Instead of xp being dealt from each hit on an enemy (since most necros abuse the mechanism by hitting people inside spawn or simply fisting them to farm xp), how about giving the necro some xp based on how much damage has been dealt (untrue damage) and when the bar is full, the necro can then left click to the steak to regenerate it, or something like that. This will encourage players to actually fight instead of just using the abilities when the cooldown is over.
    Picture this- A necro with a 4ks or simply four kills is fighting a heavy. The necro is on very low health, and all the medics are targeting someone or assisting the capturer. So what does the necro do? Run away and use their abilities when the cooldown is over. This is not going to be very effective. But if you implement this xp idea into this necro class, then the necro can attack while healing health. This will increase its survivability.

    Apart from this, everything else about your necro seems perfect or really balanced, but keep in mind these suggestions and i think this might replace our current trivial necro in the future.

    I think zombies will despawn due to the fact of lag. At the moment I will keep the abilities to be unlocked by the current killstreaks. However if it's going to change in some way I will keep the XP idea in mind, as it's not a bad idea.

    In my opinion, the cool down of the ability shouldn't be with time, yet with hits. The class needs to land 12 hits (the hits that the zombies land count) in order of reloading his ability.

    Ok so similar to the Stormnox idea.
    Would you consider 1 XP bar for graveyard usage, 2 XP bars for spiders nest and 3 XP bars for the blaze burst. Something along those lines?

    Didn't really get the idea of XP bars, but if you want this idea to include the XP bar, I have an idea for you.

    You're probably familiar with the little rectangles/boxes that are in the XP bar (if not, select the default texture pack and take a look on the XP bar). Every hit you or your mobs land, a box in the XP bar will fill up. Once you get to 12 boxes (12 hits) the ability (graveyard in this situation) is reloaded.

    Sorry don't really like the idea, would probably stick to the low killstreak. If many people would prefer the XP idea it could be changed.
