    CTF Map Submission

    Like the title suggests, this is a re-submit. It was not voted into the most recent wave, Wave XIV, and I would like to get a better understanding as to why people did not enjoy this map. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

    I honestly would enjoy playing on this map more than the one that we have. I checked it out in-game, and the changes to the original are mostly benefitial. It's a +1 from me, definitely.

    Overall, the map is so much cleaner than the one in rotation. Honestly, I don’t know why this was denied. +1 from me

    Map sucks, you put a lot of effort but its whatever popular kill creek version reskinned plus there are holes in your bridges so I'm sorry but actually like 0/10

    I was a little frustrated when I wrote my post cuz I lost a cap in a ppm cuz I fell through a pointless retarded hole on a bridge. But in reality idk why he called it a rework it’s a reskin, just the map looks different doesn’t address issues, should not replace the map in rotation cuz he made a couple blocks a couple other blocks

    This rework actually fixes quite a bit of issues the current version in rotation has. Additional entrances to the flagroom were added, sponges to get across the map which provide easier access to tops of buildings, and entrances to the flagroom were widened.

    So he made it easier to capture the flag in every change? That’s not addressing issues that’s just helping offense

    The holes aren't meaningless if they are effective :smile: Unless you like to swim a bit more, I think the addition of the bridge is at least a convenience.

    It would be helpful too if you could define these "issues".

    The map looks a lot better when I went to It on build then the pictures on here tbh The texture used in the screenshots makes it look pretty bad

    On the map currently in use people can use the spawn to hide infron of if someone is camping, Here it looks like you just have a sign in front of spawn for protection nothing is really stopping anyone from shooting people right as they come out of spawn. Though on the other hand it would be pretty easy to counter-camp with pyro, since theres no real obstacles in front of spawn.

    I don't go on offense much so its never affected me, but I agree with @Dragoarg7 that there shouldn't be holes on the bridge. The river will already be a perfect sniping ground. you're dealing with snipers on top of the bridges and the cliff so I think the holes will be unnecessary and are more trouble then there worth having.
