Current State

Hey,

I was just casually stopping by and I have been told that a lot of the people who used to play WarZ left to play a new "player" ran server. I'm not here to advertise the server, but whoever is actually playing on that server, . All I gotta say. That's besides the point, there has been minimal communication between the staff team and the community and eventually, people started getting tired of not getting listened too and getting bhopped so they decided to leave. There was a lack of people actually moderating the server and those who did, well congrats. You are the ones who cared, but the rest of the staff team supposedly didn't care "enough?" I have always wondered what went through peoples mind when it came to moderating WarZ. Believe it or not, I was told by a couple ex and current staff members that they would of never touched the server cause they were scared of getting harassed by these players. I kind of find it funny how they said that to this day... but that isn't why I'm here. I personally, like everyone else in the WarZ community, believe that THIS WarZ is the best version that is currently out. Except no one pays attention to it and no one is coming back because of that same reason. I'm just here to toss some ideas that SHOULD be listened too. With this "community" survey being conducted, this is prime time to listen to your community, as I am not a staff member anymore, I hope that I'm listened too as no one else is really proposing any ideas.

Make Air Drops happen every hour​

This shouldn't be too hard to implement, right now, Air drops are based off how many people are on the server. My initial intentions when I brought it up/changed it, was to make it happen EVERY hour but somehow it flew over someones head and they made it so a **** ton of players had to be on. This can easily be brought down since it's a number change. Just lower the number of players that need to be on.

Lower the prices of ranks

Yes of course Brawl has to make SOME type of profit. I just think that lowering the prices for monthly ranks can easily bring in more revenue and encourage more people to buy them. This can produce a decent income still, since more people would most likely buy the ranks. I also boosted the stuff that some of the ranks got when spawned in. Some of the perks can easily be changed and can include more stuff. WarZ is at a point where it really needs some type of way to bring back players, and this is easily a start. As well as summer starting, this is a great opportunity to act.

More staff members, or more moderation on WarZ

This is easily one of the major issues on WarZ, actually I take that back. It's more of a server wide issue but at the end of the day this is about WarZ. As I stated earlier, there aren't many staff members that want to touch the server. I feel as if people were more reassured that nothing would happen to them, they would be more willing to get on WarZ and mod it. But at the end of the day, there will always be those people who stand out and want to make a name for themselves by messing with people. Just say **** it and have less lenient punishments towards those people. Doxing, ddosing, hacking should be more serious than it is now. To make a statement of course, you could easily bring down the alts to only 2 across accounts. If someone does not learn the first time, and get banned AGAIN, they will clearly have a third time. This will make it so people understand that they can not continuously get away with the same repeated hacking. As well as a ban wipe, it's one of the best ways to RESTART and give everyone a chance again. If something is done soon, people will see that staff actually care and will be more willingly to come back to the WarZ servers on Brawl. But as of right now, no interest is shown (besides @SoCool21's changes a couple months back) in messing with WarZ.

More events, doesn't have to be very complex ones

When I had permission to give out kits and warps to allow people to fight, we would top 50, sometimes 60 players on the server. This simple act brought in so many people because they had an opportunity to get gear and tp to a place where everyone was fighting. As well as casually giving out event items, this brought a lot of FUN to the server allowing for more people to want to play. These events don't need to be planned out over a month time period, they can be done in a couple days and can easily bring in players. It just comes down to who is willing to put in the time.

Brawl is an amazing server that a lot of people enjoy but at the end of the day, many don't want to come back because the lack of moderation is insane, and the lack of WarZ specific staff. I know there is not much that the staff team can do about the lack of staff, but no one is going to apply to a dead server. These are just some suggestions and actions that can be taken to bring back life to the server. It doesn't always have to be boring, no one is trying and that's why nothing is happening. Just stopping by though hopefully something happens.​

 

It's up to the effort the staff members put in to keep players around

 

Reduce it to 2+ and 3 months, and yes, reset.

 

Looking at someone who knows how to properly hide xray is impossible, it's very hard and 2-3 min is usually not enough.
