Blocking slows down your movement when you block hit, making it harder to strafe. Sure you take less damage, but you also lose the mobility you need to actually pvp. If you want to remove blocking from chem, it will nerf it for everyone except hackers.

 

They also have aoe projectiles

This is kind of ok because it will lower chemist’s defense making it less difficult to kill

 

blocking projectiles wont do anything, archer gives chem debuff whenever it hits an arrow. Also what do you mean by AoE projectiles? splash pots? chem just heals them up and takes less damage already no point in blocking "aoe" projectiles. Its already easy to kill if you play the correct class and counter (eg buffed heavy) or if you're just simply better...?

 

I just started playing pyro and so I admit defeat in this argument

Because 6 hits from a pyro means death

 

Personally as a chem main, chem needs a nerf, however it isn't the attack that is a problem, it is more of the way you can sustain urself for a long time

You wanna talk about luck? Because you’re the one who can’t even press f5. You are one of the chemists I don’t even have to use my mind when killing. I just have to find a way behind you and then you are doomed. Sure, when I am under stress I get hasty and you kill me, but otherwise you make yourself very vulnerable.

Not to mention, Assassin does take skill to use. You have to have self control, patience, the ability to think ahead, a cunning mind, quick reflexes, and the element of surprise. I will admit that I have a lack of some of these attributes, but luck is still not the right word.

Also, I know more about chemist than you think. I have always tried to find a way to best a chemist. That constant search has given me a pretty good knowledge of how chemist works.

Am I saying that Chemist is an op class? No.
Am I saying that you have no skill? No.
Am I saying that Assassin is more than luck? Yes.

Please think before using the word luck.

If an assassin gets a nice assassinate kill by baiting someone to unblock (lauten, islendingur etc) then thats respectable, but when u kill someone literally for standing afk near ur flagroom that pisses people off. I guess that is one of the main reasons why people hate assassins.
