    Buffing isn’t very prominent in ctf as of now. Sure, we have chemists, but they are mostly focused on capturing the flag and being offensive. So, let’s face it, we need another support class.
    What I am thinking is a banner/totem class, kind of like the axemen in kingdom rush frontiers. You would have different banners that buff Teammates and nerf enemies. You can activate these buffs/nerfs by placing them (doesn’t take up xp bar) or holding them. (does take up xp bar) Left clicking switches between buff and nerf. When activated, they make an aura of particles. The type of particles depends on the buff/nerf.
    Here are a few ideas:
    -Power totem (buff: purple banner, nerf: light grey banner): gives strength to teammates and weakness to enemies
    -Health totem (buff: red banner, nerf: yellow banner): gives regeneration to teammates and poison to enemies
    Agility totem: (buff:light blue Nerf: magenta) buff: speed nerf: slowness

    Yes but u can only have a 2 second jump boost

    I have chemist it is boring

    Chemist and medic are the only support classes, and saying chemist is a support class is a stretch, because most chemists go offense.

    false. support classes can include classes such as ninja, engineer as you're supposed to defend the flagstealer/carrier

    And guess who else goes offense? People who cap. Chemist Is as much as support class as any.

    Like Signifies mentioned, roles aren't hard fixed and even a pyro can go offense if they wanted to. Chemist just happens to be played more offensively because of its Resistance buff. I believe pots should remain because chemist is the only class that has a kit dedicated to pots and this ensures diversity and that people who normally hotkey/play potpvp will find it easy to pick up this class instead.. kinda like how some classes do not have steak which focuses more on pvping (for ninja) or playing mind games and outplaying the opponent (assassin). It's just a playstyle which suits different players. Secondly, buffs are integral in matches, because it ensures that offense and defense have an easier time playing their respective roles. Chemist should stay as it is and if you don't necessarily like the class, you don't necessarily need to play it or pick it up anyway, so it should be fine to leave the class unchanged. Plus, chemist is not overpowered. Yet.

    Engineer, ninja, elf could support, even assassin, (necro2). I feel like we have enough support classes. If they were to add a new class I'd rather have a recovery class.

    I mean buffs and heals. Also, elf only has Regen and engineer gives only a short Regen and speed. Necro2 isn’t out yet. So In the end, /b only summons chemists, and even that rarely happens

    I was talking about support(as you quoted), which obviously is something else. But do you really want buffed heavy to become even stronger?

    And why do you think I played chemist for An EnTiRe 13 MiNuTeS?

    Tbh tho 2 second jump boost is kinda dumb like we get 3 jumps with one potion.

    Can we all agree on that?

    Imagine judging an entire class when you've only used it for 13 minutes. I challenge you to play it for an entire week. Without potspamming. Then you can say it's boring.

    Maybe. But it's still quite useful if used properly. It should be longer.
