    Hiya CTFers!

    It's about time for another Q&A, seeing how the last one was hosted around May of 2019. We've had so many tweaks and updates since then, and what better way to spend the holiday season than submitting questions for the staff team to answer?

    Same as last time: You can ask any question relating to CTF, whether it be about the team scene, upcoming events, updates, reworks, etc. We will try our best to answer any question you throw at us!

    As for submitting your questions, you can simply reply to this thread with your question in this format:
    Question: How are you today?​
    If you wish to submit your question anonymously, that's fine, just reply with your question through this form.

    We are accepting questions until Christmas! The deadline for any questions is Wednesday, December 25th. We hope to host the Q&A session the first weekend of January, so around the 3rd-5th of the month. Whether the event will be streamed or not is currently up in the air, I will reply to this thread with more details at a later date.

    The first questions answered will be the ones submitted through the forums or the form linked above. If there is a stream, any live questions asked will be answered afterward.

    Jokes aside,
    Question: I know there isn't any current dedicated CTF developer, but are there plans to rework some of the "problem child" classes in CTF? Archer, ninja, chemist, and medic are all currently very powerful, while pyro really isn't in a fantastic place right now (and hasn't been, according to a lot of pyro mains on CTF). Ninja especially makes it hard to balance other classes (chemist, medic, elf, archer, pyro) because of how polarizing it can be to play against one. You have to make a class good enough to play against ninja (by giving it resistance, for instance), but that often makes it way too powerful against every other class.

    Question: Now that redslime is no longer here, who was the designated person to take over his projects, for instance clans?

    One day a few weeks ago when I logged on the Brawl lobby, I noticed a player with a developer tag that goes by “Slave”. Is he just an already nicked dev of ours or he is a potentially going to be the newest dev?

    Slave is Paul/Mario, he's been doing a lot of stuff for WarZ recently and has been with Brawl for a long time.
