Welp... 3 year anniversary!

It seems to me that I have been officially playing ctf for exactly 3 years now... (1 day after @wintergreen3 :33).

Warning: Huge block of text describing my history, which is very important to me!

I joined ctf due to a friend at school who wanted someone to play with him on this server. I joined, and the map that I joined on was kill creek. I had no idea what I was doing of course, and I made the typical noob mistakes:

• Only played Heavy
• Ran into spawn with flag
• Called soldier hackers
• Thought pyro was op because I thought it could just always instakill no matter what (not only on fire)
• Othre nooby things

I eventually started figure things out about how to play the game... realized /soldier allowed me to play soldier, and /medic allowed me to play medic. After that, I started playing soldier more often and capped alot with it. I continued playing cf for about a year, until around October/November 2013 when I took a break. Up to this point, I wasn't involved in the community that much, didn't have skype to communicate, nor have any friends on the server. I hopped back on ctf on March 2014, playing some more soldier and got back into the game. Now during this point, clans were introduced into mcpvp, and I, since I wasn't really involved in the community, didn't really care. However, when I started playing for a lot during the summer of 2014, I sent an application to two clans: Savage and Solar Eclipse (I didn't know about teams at this point, so I thought SE was just another clan). Obviously Solar Eclipse didn't accept, but I was accepted by megacraft6000 (now known as @Mehgur) into Savage. This was a huge changing point in me playing ctf as well as my life as a whole. I made friends on ctf, I got skype and started talking with people and messing around with each other. I learned some more things which I didn't know, such as the command /con and the fact that I mostly played on c01, but there were a01, a02, a03, etc and b01, b02, b03, etc. Furthermore, during a 24 hour call with savage members, we invited some people such as @Derpy_Jazz and @5ive_Head to talk with us. During this call, we were mostly playing ctf and sometimes other games (I believe this was when I was first introduced to osu, but not really sure) and that was also the day I got 117 (almost all legit as far as I'm aware) caps. Also, 5ive started talking to us about teams (mostly people like purest, mega, or chris, I was half paying attention during this point caz I was tired). Well, eventually @Cliff_92 began a team called the black knights, and that's when 2 of the members of Savage applied. I remember a game on desert strike where pure was talking to Cliff about the team, and I was interested, so I pm'd Cliff asking if I could join. He said to apply on the forums (which was still kinda foreign to me at the time), and so I did. I first applied for merc, since I had no idea what teams were or how they worked, but eventually I figured out that I wanted to be a member, not a merc. And so this brought up another stage in ctf. For the next year, I as a player improved alot, as well as got waaaay more involved in the community, actually paying attention to the forums, applying to different teams for merc, and made new friends. I eventually got on the overall capping leader-boards, and started climbing the leader-board, which I saw as inspiration to keep working on capping and becoming better. I eventually became like #32 or something with 3672 caps or something (can't remember, but it was somewhere in 3600 caps), and this really was a personal accomplishment, since for 2 years, I have seen those people on the leader-boards as amazing players, and always inspired to be like them, and well... now I'm there. Besides getting better at the game as well as playing more on a competitive level, I made a ton of new friends. Due to these new friends as well as people on my team, I was gifted: ninja, chemist, assassin, mage, elf, pyro, and necro. Dwarf and engi I got due to mcpvp changes to Eula. This part really just made ctf fun for me and improved me as a person and also my interactions with others. This was the first major community I was really apart of and I will always remember my time on this server. With that being said, I would like to thank some people:

@5ive_Head for introducing me to teams, and just being an amazing person to talk to!

@gamren for being an amazing person just like cliff and also a terrific team leader when cliff's computer ripped.
@Bk members for being an awesome team and great friends to me, I will never forget you
@CTF mods/admins, for doing a wonderful job on this server and dealing with a community that might not always love what you do!
@CTF community, for defining who I am and what I do, I really wouldn't be here without this community.
