    Hello again!

    We have a few well-requested class tweaks that we're going to publicly test for 5 days each. Without further ado!

    Chemist (June 14-23)
    • Removed Resistance I
    • Added Protection I to chestplate and boots
    • Instant health pot mana usage decreased from 1/5 >> 1/4
    Scout (June 19-23)
    • Medic can no longer restore Death Tag item
    • Death Tag cooldown decreased 20s >> 15s
    • Change Death Tag damage modifier based on class from 1.50x >>
      • (1.15x) Assassin, Ninja, Scout
      • (1.25x) Elf, Medic, Pyro, Archer, Engineer, Mage, Chemist
      • (1.50x) Soldier, Heavy, Dwarf, Necro
    Assassin (June 24 - July 3)
    • Medic can no longer restore Assassinate/Redstone
    • Assassin no longer regains Assassinate upon death/respawn
    • Assassinate cooldown decreased 20s >> 15s
    • Gain Strength 2 for 9 seconds on assassination
    • Vulnerability time decreased 3s >> 2s
    Necro (June 29 - July 3)
    • Decreased Revival Tag cooldown 20s >> 15s
    • Necro no longer regains Revival Tag upon death/respawn
    • Revival Tag effect remains applied to teammate even if Necro dies

    thank ****ing christ chemist is dead on off if scout is played
    sin is now capped at times you can have per map which basically makes class way worse ngl
    also necro's revival tag doesnt rly do much on off for respawning. maybe make it so u dont get skull back immediately on respawn? you can just keep respawning as necro during stalemates and spam skulls at the flag carrier

    also archer nerf on debuffing chem pls?

    Wasnt the whole point of Resistance Chem that ninjas dont 2 hit them? Cant you lower ninja dmg against chems like you could buff archer dmg against chem?

    removing the medics ability to restore assassinate and no respawning with the redstone is pretty bad. its already been tested and it made me quit playing assassin while being tested.

    Assassin is going to be rough to play on now. I agree it needs to be nerfed, but this seems like a lot.

    Not really means that assassin actually requires somewhat skill rather than basically being a kamikaze guy and there’s a punishment for not assassinating anyone.

    I feel like that assassin tweak is just gonna make it a free kill after it has no redstone lol, but we'll see

    Isnt dying punishment enough? The only protection an assassin has is gold boots and iron sword so the class is almost useless in between redstones. Then with this change you always have to wait after dying just to be able to play again, because you cant even get restored by the medic anymore

    On regards to assassin, I feel like you should still be able to get your redstone back only AFTER death. The problem with that is that when you try respawning and your HP isn't maxed, you die. So maybe some tweaking on re-spawning could be made? I just think assassin would be pretty useless in between redstones. I agree with everyone, it's an annoying class but I still think that tweak nerfs it way too much considering redstone wont be able to be restored by medics.

    But then again, assassins die non stop so it's tricky.

    Maybe make it so medics can restore your redstone but respawning/death doesn't? You're less likely to run into a medic than death.

    Dying and coming back with assassinate again is really not a punishment

    Assassin/Scout/Necro changes are good.

    I hate to say it, but chemist is going to be too squishy now. Protection 1 on those armor pieces is almost nothing, it's a % of a %. I think the answer to fixing chemist lies in a rework of the mana system. The reason resistance was overpowered is because chemist went from having to conserve mana to avoid being quickdropped to being able to spam pots and live through damage with resistance. Chemist is one of the only decent capping classes on casual because it's able to deal with things likle multiple assassins, ninjas, etc with potions while being tanky and not having to waste heal pots. Now you're going to have to use those heal pots more often and you'll be mana droughted trying to fight off those burst damage classes. This change is fine for competitive, but makes offense on casual much more frustrating.

    isn't it like 4% per prot level so its still an 8% dmg reduction?

    Bruh the whole point of the change is that assassins shouldnt get rewarded for dying. When they mess their assassinate up and die, they just respawn with it again and come at u right after how is that a punishment for the assassin??

    Yea it gives the leather armor 8% more prot of the prot it originally gives you,but if u consider that a full prot V Iron set has less dmg resistance than a regular Diamond set because the armor points are that what real matters, you might be realizing that theres no point in prot buffing the leather stuff. it would be better to give Chemist a chain helmet or something


    Btw why are Archers so tanky? 6 Armor points? Why give them a punch bow when theyre that tanky. Chain chest+ Full leather would do too..

    A few of my team members have tested the changes. Chem is fine in a competitive standing but weaker in casual (bigger mobs of defense etc)
