    Getty Gardens V. Ive never seen II, III or IV WHAT.
    its so different :frowning: Everything I loved about the OG Getty Gardens... GONE.
    It does still have the aesthetic and traversing the map looks smooth! and it looks nice and balanced for archer. Soldier OP.

    All of the variants got wiped back on mcpvp because they had unlimited map borders

    + Remake of a map I always liked a bit, makes routes a lot more accessible and offers a variety of routes.
    + Not archer op at all... except for one issue below.
    + Very cute little map, love the asthetics.
    + Not really any good stalemate spots.
    - This map has a glaring problem in my opinion. You can travel from one flag to the other in ~20 seconds without any sort of extra mobility straight down mid, or in 2 Ninja pearls. It's super easy to ghost as well. I know that Blackout also has this problem (it's actually longer than 20 seconds iirc), but spawn to the capping routes is more accessible on Blackout than it is here imo. This might not be much of an issue if the flagroom wasn't that offensive biased.
    - Flagroom is a bit too offensive biased. Didn't think I'd ever say that but a small flagroom on Blackout works because it's more claustrophobic, and the flag is against a wall with entrances that are 2-3 blocks tall, so they're hard to get out of when you're being knocked around. Plus, the flagroom on Blackout has a few elevation changes. However, there's literally a sponge in here.
    - You can headshot the flagroom from multiple angles. One of the worst is the top of the bridge above spawn, which you can blockglitch and parkour up to. The entire flagroom is visible from that angle.

    Potential changes:
    > Less offensive flagroom. Didn't think I'd ever say this. Remove the sponges in the flagroom.
    > Make it so you can't headshot the flag.
    > It's so hard for recov on this map I feel, I'd suggest removing the entire underground area, or at least not put an entrance right at the flagroom
    I'm sorry I don't know how else to fix it but I think playing this in competitive or casual would just be a nightmare for defence and recovery.

    Would removing the roofs on the bridges be enough to fix it? I tried to make it so that archers couldn't reach those roofs at all but I guess they could blockglitch. For the underground I may remove the entrances right in front of spawn and just leave the diagonal entrances, or just remove the whole thing.

    I think removing the roofs would be a decent idea, and keep the underground but have it go at like, the 45, 135, 225 and 315 degree angles of the map if you know what I mean. Basically in front of both spawns and then at the parts of the circle exactly between both spawns, and not in front of the flag room.

    Removed the sponge in flag and added sponges to the side:
