Add a difficulty level next to each class in the menu, so new players have a decent idea what they’re buying
(1 is easy, 3 is hard)
    Dwarf: 1
    Heavy: 1
    Assassin: 1
    Soldier: 1
    Medic: 1
    Necro: 1
    Archer: 2
    Engineer: 2
    Scout: 2
    Mage: 2
    Chemist: 3
    Elf: 3
    Ninja: 3
    Pyro: 3

just my opinion on relative difficulty levels (with more of a casual mindset)

EDIT: could also show it as like a star rating thing with Unicode characters, where one out of three stars is easy, 3/3 is hard, to make it more of a visual thing

    EDIT: moved chem to 3

Even though I think mage should have a rating a 3, I mostly agree. It would be very helpful for newer players to see with which classes they should start of with.

It's a good idea but using stars may also indicate how strong a class is unless otherwise specified.
Also, I think Ninja, Pyro, and Archer should be rated easier and Mage, Scout, and Necro should be rated harder.

The ratings can be debated a ton, I’m glad they are. Honestly I didn’t put much thought into the current ratings when I made this, I was just rating them so I could post the idea.
As for the stars, that’s a good counterpoint so I guess maybe it would be better to just copy hypixel’s Smash Heroes game and put three dots. If it’s level 1, have 1 dot be light green and the other 2 dark gray; if level 2, two yellow dots, one dark gray; if level 3, all three red dots.

In terms of actual pvp skill and knowledge of vanilla minecraft (regs):
    - Archer: 2
    - Assassin: 2
    - Chemist: 3
    - Dwarf: 1
    - Elf: 2
    - Engineer: 2
    - Heavy: 1
    - Mage: 2
    - Necro: 1
    - Ninja: 3
    - Pyro: 3

In terms of being the most efficient killer (kill*****s, nons):
    - Archer: 1
    - Assassin: 2
    - Chemist: 1
    - Dwarf: 3
    - Elf: 2
    - Engineer: 1
    - Heavy: 2
    - Mage: 1
    - Necro: 1
    - Ninja: 1
    - Pyro: 1

Pyro can use frenzy pretty much whenever it wants, and the nons make quite effective use of it while sometimes also not knowing how to sprint. Archer is Archer. Assassins can usually be countered, but there are always going to be the people that hide in the same spot for 5 minutes just to get a single surprise kill. Engineer can tnt spam & run with the speed pad nearly indefinitely. Necro cuts down almost every class if you can aim a mouse. Mage is just engineer on steroids with an even more unbalanced healing ability.

One trend you will see in Archer mains particularly is that their kdr is always substantially higher than any other mains when you consider the amount of kills they have; headshot is incredibly broken on casual with how easy it is to land the shots on comparatively laid back players, as opposed to the competitive scene where everyone is always trying to watch out for the Archer. See the following instances (Archer stats):
    - brawl.com/players/Proterozoic
    - brawl.com/players/BrandinoB
    - brawl.com/players/Haise
    - brawl.com/players/wulfi98
    - brawl.com/players/hayns
Notably high kill totals, yet their kdr for Archer is still moderately high at the same time. These are just a few examples.

Keep in mind this is all from the perspective of a casual player.

I believe for this to be implemented there should be 5 different classifications, and then an overall difficulty rating.

    These classifications would include:
    Damage
    Mobility
    Support
    Crowd Control
    Armor

Also, instead of 1-3 I believe it should be rated 0-3. With the addition that a 4 in damage represents instant kill ability.

    Here would be my list:

    Free Classes:
    Heavy: Damage 3, Mobility 0, Support 0, CC 0, Armor 3
    Soldier: Damage 2, Mobility 3, Support 0, CC 0, Armor 2.5
    Archer: Damage 4, Mobility 0, Support 0, CC 0, Armor 2
    Medic: Damage 1, Mobility 0, Support 3, CC 3, Armor 2

    Premium Classes:
    Ninja: Damage 3, Mobility 3, Support 0, CC 1, Armor 0
    Assassin: Damage 4, Mobility 2, Support 0, CC 0, Armor 0
    Scout: Damage 3, Mobility 2, Support 0, CC 2, Armor .5
    Pyro: Damage 4, Mobility 0, Support 0, CC 1, Armor 1 (Considering Pyro's Frenzy Instakill-like)
    Engineer: Damage 2, Mobility 1, Support 2, CC 1, Armor 1.5
    Necro: Damage 2, Mobility 0, Support 2, CC 1, Armor 2
Dwarf: Damage 4, Mobility 0, Support 0, CC 2, Armor 3 (High level dwarves practically instakill
    Elf: Damage 1, Mobility 3, Support 2, CC 2, Armor 1.5
    Chemist: Damage 3, Mobility 2, Support 3, CC 2, Armor 2
    Mage: Damage 2, Mobility 0, Support 1, CC 3, Armor 1
