Outro New Year, New Me

Oh wow, I cannot believe I have gotten to the point where I am writing an outro.

After one year of my “new” name, I feel that I should move on. I really don’t know what to say at this point. There is so much to say, so many people to thank, so many things engraved in my mind forever. It really would be a countless list of people who I would tag to be grateful towards, so anyone who will post here is who will get my deepest gratitude. (dead members you better step it up). Besides, I will not pick favorites. Anyone who knows they would be tagged will do so, and that is all that matters.

This really was inevitable. I barely touched the servers since July, and have occupied with other things. (Keep in mind that a lot of time I am afk in TF2 >:M) The decline came gradually as a result to my demotion in May, of course. I was never devastated, but I just felt my time in war had been finished. I had served that community for a good year and tried my best to assist in its prosperity.

Ever since then I have just kept onto the forums. That’s where most enjoyment has been anyways. I have been checking the site daily for a good 18 months or so, and after a while, it does strain your mind a bit. Let me elaborate: seeing floods of players who use things like generic teenager skins and “MLG MEME” speak really wears on me. Even if it not serious, I was never fond of it. There is just so much I can take.

For the past few weeks, I have only been checking the forums daily only to see if people would send me messages, albeit few and far between. Note that I am not trying to act like I am desperate for these, or that because I am not getting enough attention I am leaving. I have just been waiting for this time so that I could break the cycle here and actually move on and do different things.

What would those things be? Well, same stuff as I usually do. Play vidja games. That aspect never changed, but I just moved on from Minecraft as I am now indifferent towards it, namely the game itself and its community.

I am posting this now so by the time 2015 comes (remember that I live in the Eastern time zone) I can once and for all leave the community. For now, send me whatnot on the thread for me to do the obligatory friendly ratings and “I’ll miss you” and so on.

Will I come back? No. But that will not stop me from checking in a few months or so. Who knows? Maybe I’ll grace someone by sending him or her a secret PM all ninja-like without anyone else knowing. (PERHAPS IF THIS THREAD GETS 100 FRIENDLY RATINGS I WILL COME BACK LOL)

Remember guys: This community is a treasure. All people who are in it, made it, they made it something special. You all should be proud of that. I am glad to have been part of this community. This'll be my last long post on the forum.
