    Class Idea -- Nightmare Premium


    Class Role

    This class is mainly ranged offence.

    Starting Items

    -Iron Sword (Renamed -- Night Sword)
    -x3 steak
    -Bone (renamed -- Night Attack)
    -Bow, 1 arrow (Enchantment -- Infinity I) (renamed -- Tracker)
    -Bat Egg (renamed -- Nightshift)
    -Glass Pane (renamed -- Night Shield)

    -Leather Helmet (black) (Protection I)
    -Leather Chestplate (black) (Protection I)
    -Leather Leggings (black) (Protection I)
    -Leather Boots (black) (Protection I and Feather Falling II)

    Explanations

    Passive Abilities

    -This class has night vision and speed I.

    Active Abilities


      • Night Attack, when right clicked fires wither skulls that does the following:
        • When enemy is hit he/she gets blindness II for 2 seconds and 2 hearts of true damage.
        • The wither skulls go in a straight line and in the impact radius of 2x2x2 blindness I for 2 seconds and 2.5 hearts of true damage.
        • Range is 50+ blocks.
        • This weapon can be used 3 times consecutively before a 5 seconds reload (0.50 seconds in-between every consecutive shot). It will be shown in the xp bar, when one shot is fired 1/3 of the bar will deplete and so forth, but if the Nightmare waits 3 seconds it will go back to full xp bar.
      • The Tracker is simple, by firing and hitting an enemy he/she will be marked for 15 seconds:
        • When using Night Attack it won't fire in a straight line but it will follow the targeted player (like a heat seeking missile in the real world).
        • There is no cool down but if you want to get off the target by left clicking the bow will take off the targeting system.
        • The arrow does no damage or knockback.
        • When the enemy is hit in their chat it will say twice "Warning! You have been locked on!"
          The wither skull will follow the targeted player until it hits a wall (the targeted player is going to have to run and do sharp turns) or if the skull is 20 seconds in the air it will disappear.
      • The Nightshift is the Nightmare's quickest way to move, by right clicking the egg you turn into a bat and you are able to fly for 30 seconds:
        • The bat has speed III when flying.
        • You can't attack when in bat form but you have 5 hearts of health.
        • By left clicking you can automatically turn back to player mode.
        • Can't carry/get flag in this mode.
        • Cooldown is 18 seconds.
        • This ability only works when you haven't been attacked for 6 seconds.
        • You take no fall damage if you are in the air and you left click to the ground.
        • When you are 15 blocks near the flag or 2 blocks near the enemy flag carrier you automatically turn back to player mode.
      • Night Shield spawns 3 bats around your head.
        • This deflects all melee attacks (Except for pyro, assassin, medics, dwarf and the enemy flag carrier).
        • It lasts 5 seconds cooldown is 30 seconds.
        • When near a teammate (2x2) they get regeneration II for the amount of seconds left in your Night Shield.

    The problem is having another ranged class that has way to similar attributes to a different ranged class.

    Elf has its wind arrows that gives it flight, and look This idea gives the class 30 seconds of flight with speed 3. Thats could get you across the map in less then 5 seconds.

    Its based on the idea of a vampire with some ranged attacks. The bat has 1 heart of health and its supposed to be a mobile class. @Lujiu

    This is OP as heck, and not needed at all. We already have a ranged premium class, no need to make more.

    It's night attack thing is really strong. This would do an easy 7.5 hearts of damage in an instant with only a 5 second cooldown, and on top of that, this can have the ability to not miss if you land your night tracker. All in all, way too strong.

    I don't like the turning into a bat idea, it seems like it's only for mobility, and useless in recovery because you automatically turn back when you're near a flag carrier. Seems gimicky to me.

    The night shield is also extremely OP. 14 seconds of basically invuln?? With a 20 second cooldown? That means any class besides an insta-kill can not kill you, unless they happen to get in that 6 second window of no invuln.

    All these I have copied and pasted from MC-PvP forums to here.

    Fine I will make it 2 hearts for the Night Attack, the bat is literally only meant for mobility. And its 14 seconds and then 20 cooldown, its a 20 second time slot. But I will decrease it to your likings.

    2 hearts is still 6 hearts of damage in about 2 seconds with a 5 second overall cooldown. Decreasing the damage doesn't change the broken concept.

    o, I guess I misunderstood that. Still. the invuln is OP as heck, no class should be able to be invincible.

    Just because the bat is meant for mobility doesn't make it good. The mobility really isn't effective, seeing as you die in one hit, and you can't chase down a flag carrier for crap.

    In addition, this class really isn't needed in CTF.
