Idea Wool or banner

I didn't need an explanation.

 

I agree. I'm all for CTF being hard to capture the flag, but the hard part should be getting in and out of the flagroom alive, not picking up that flag.

 

I agree with scape. ^^

 

Things wrong with banners:
1. You can't seen name tags through them
2. You can't hit through them
3. Can't crouch block when looking at it
4. It's too tall
5. It's annoying to try to pick it up
6. The name tag on the flag will make you think that's a player
7. Instant pickup (unless it's fixed idk)
8. Wool is love, wool is life.
EDIT:
9. When wearing the banner, you look like an idiot
10. Gets rid of your helmet.
11. Makes it more laggy by 0.33% (idk)
12. Sir_inge is going to quit if banners stay
13. Wool has a more blockier taste
14. Can walk through it
15. It looks plain and ugly and stupid and blank.

 

So almost no staff members have commented here? Come on, admins and mods, and devs, comment here!

 

I still don't get people who care more about aesthetics than gameplay
1.8's banners are crap just get rid of them already.

 

At this point I can care less how the flag looks, because I've gotten used to seeing both wool and banner and its basically tomato, tamato or however that saying goes. xD Wool is more traditional, while I see the banner to be something more modern. But as long as the developers fix and balance how players steal, carry, drop, and capture the flag, then I'm happy.
