    Its mostly because classes are more advanced than kits, and the addition of just a single class can completely change the way CTF plays contrary to the addition of 1 HG kit, which could barely change anything. With a CTF class, strategies and new ways to play come with it, this doesn't apply so much with HG kits.

    Aight, but still, point stands. CTF's got like 13 classes, and Elf (the newest) is a combination of the best ideas from a massive amount of people.

    Back on the discourse days, when everything was in full swing because people were biitch'n about not having new classes, there were so many good ideas that you couldn't swing a dead cat around without hitting at least 3 of them.

    WHY DID IT HAZZ TO DIE!!! WAI?? *cries*
    well anyways.. IDEA:
    full leather armour and wooden sword.. free (sword fires arrows when exp bar is full and you left click).
    immunity to fire (Pyro counter)
    cant block Assassin instakills
    if the arrow hits a player on your team it heals him/her if not it harms him/her
    Elf counter cause Elf Sword does 35.5% less damage

    ALSO 1.9 SNAPSHOT COMES TOMORROW (maybe)

    the reason could also be if they haven't fully balanced the existing classes, why would they add new ones

    There are enough classes already. There is really no need to add any more. To be honest, if we get more classes, CTF will become "Get More Kills" because of the "unique" ways to kill or insta-kill. Lastly, what classes do we really really need just to get more caps. I honestly think people are going this crap so they can just cap easily.
