    It has come to a point where I have to make a thread like this. I hope some of you agree with what I'm about to say.
    -Dwarf needs to go.
    This class is annoying as hell and when you have 3 or more, it just becomes hell. People take advantage of this on Friday, but this class in particular is chosen most. Why? Because it's OP. There is really no counter to dwarf. An archer weakens it but doesn't kill it. Elf can do damage onto it but elf can die easily. Lastly, Assassin does nothing when the dwarf is blocking(which happens in most cases. It's come to a point where we don't need a nerf , we just need the whole class to go.

    -Engineer needs to go or have a drastic rework.
    This class, again, is annoying as hell. On some maps, you can place turrets blocking the main entrances of a flag room. I find this to be super cheap and some say this too. Plus you can use the cake to heal, if your not engineer already, which is really stupid. This class should either go or be reworked entirely.

    Hopefully most of you agree with my opinion. If you have ideas, please leave a comment.

    Rework or not, I believe Engineer should stay. The idea of a support class to get people across the map and heal teammates with an immobile regenerator (lol, remember when engineer cakes restored steaks and health in one bite?) is still a good one, imo. The only problem is with the engineer him/herself being infinitely healed by the cake, and with flag campers feeding off of it. I do not, however, have any opposition toward the turret being removed. It's just annoying as heck to non-engineer players, and does too little damage to be lethal (unless you're ninja or assassin), which is more annoying for other players and worthless to the engineer.

    Dwarf, though, has my complete support for a removal. The class in its entirety was a bad idea. It was created a looong time ago, and my guess is that MCPVP didn't have very great ideas at the time; remember, their idea for pyro was being able to lob an arrow and have it explode (I'm not totally sure if it was possible to do otherwise with the current Bukkit API, someone feel free to tell me). Dwarf's sole purpose in life is either to flag camp or waste people's time with a capture attempt which works 2% of the time with a decent player count in the game. Especially with the Slowness effect it was given, I think MCPVP designed it to be like this.

    remove dwarf it is pyro and chem immune + full dia with swords (when high leveled enough) can nearly 1 shot heavies

    Then people would start ranting about them losing two classes.
    After the Engineer nerfs I've seen less Engineers now. It has a one way teleporter and the turret has durability.
    Just avoid or break the turret. Or head shoot the Engineer.

    And Dwarf is fine as is though. It's a balanced class that require patience. There are times when it'll get boring to use and you'll get frustrated quickly when you die at a high level. That's the class's weaknesses. You can simply steal the flag by someone distracting the dwarf and someone else stealing the flag.
    Try maining Dwarf for a month. And let me tell you, it gets boring really quickly.

    I say keep both. Dwarf is a bit op, but a lot of the times, believe it or not, dwarves get assassinated VERY easily because if you block while shifting, your xp goes down. So, dwarves don't like blocking. Engi's been nerfed to a degree where i dont really mind it anymore. Just my two cents.

    The reason why they gave it potion and fire immune because you can't escape pyros and chemists can just spam potions on you until your dead.

    Omg... Dwarf has an counter you dumb guy: archer,elf and mage. And it can be headshoted and assassinated too.

    Also... How are they annoying? If they are annoying, THEN GANG BANG 'EM!!!

    Now come on, what are you thinking? Are you trying to make it more "cap friendly" for yourself. Honestly, you need to learn when and how to enter the flagroom instead of barging in. This is how ctf is and don't try to make changes to where it only suites yourself.

    People paid for both classes, in a business and professional sense removing them is not an option.

    Coming from a capper like Ducks, it's anything but biased; he doesn't need it to be more cap-friendly! Coming from an offensive noob who struggles to cap, the bias would be far more real. The goal in removing dwarf, at least how I'm understanding it, is to make objectively playing CTF more pure, for lack of a better term; defending the flag with dwarf is not defense, it's stationary tanking.
    The sad truth. But maybe there could be benefits for those who have dwarf taken from them?... Perhaps, for example, giving a free class of choice to those people? For unranked donors who have all the classes (bought each one individually) maybe they could be bumped up to VIP; for ranked donors who get all classes automatically, imo that's subject to change anytime.
    Archer and assassin are legit counters in my opinion, maybe some assassin mains would beg to differ though. Elf is not a good "counter" for dwarf; indeed, it 3-shots every class, but take a moment to think about how difficult it is to get 3 shots on a dwarf while you're getting mobbed and pummeled by everyone else in the flag room (in the flag room, since most flag rooms can't be sniped with archer, let alone elf). (Edit: ) Also, mage "counters" any class in CTF. My guess for mage's purpose is for it to be the one class in CTF that degrades the power of every other class, except the big issue is that mage itself has way too much power for itself.

    Still not an option, the prices (as far as I can tell) between one class and one rank are too different to used as an compensation. Only way I could see this working is to take the class in question, gut it of all it's unique details to the point where it's bare as bones and make a new class from that.

    Consider this: it's practically impossible to kill decent chemists in the flagroom without a class that gives a high damage output. At the moment, pyro's the safest option (and also the one people complain about the most), assassin and archer could work if people used them defensively, and dwarf's the only other class that really fills this niche. Every class has its place, the fact that it's doing its job effectively shouldn't make you want to remove it.

    I don't think classes should be removed (or considered to be removed) based on their current level of power, but rather their contribution to the game. If reworked properly, engineer and dwarf have the potential to be really fun classes that fit in with gameplay.

    I'd argue that if any class were to be removed, it'd be mage. It doesn't have a real role in the game, it's way too powerful, and there's already a replacement class for it - elf - which has a much better playstyle, it's killable, and mechanically much more interesting than mage.

    If Dwarf's were able to take fire damage then they wouldn't be an issue, however since they don't it allows them to have no real counter to them except assassins.

    The concept of Engineer is cool, the portals, generators, etc is great. It's just the turret that seems to be broken, if the turret could only shoot targets in front of it rather then all around it then I believe that this class wouldn't be an issue.

    I don't necessarily think that these classes need to be removed, just small changes so that they're more balanced.

    Dwaf is not fine. Once a dwarf gets to a certain level, it becomes almost impossible to kill. And if there are other classes in the flagroom, then GG.
    Please stop complaining about mage. There are classes which are much more OP than mage is.
