So I sometimes go online to look at the maps people have made, and often feel sorry for the maps that don't get implemented, and a little sorry for all of us since we won't be able to play many of them.

Similar to the idea of Free [Class] Day Friday, I was thinking Brawl should have a day (either on Freeday Friday, Saturday, or Sunday as kids have school during the weekdays) where many completed maps that haven't been implemented could be tested by us players, perhaps even ones that don't look like they have a future so that the fruits of every mapmaker's labor won't go unnoticed and unappreciated. After or during each map, players would then be able to vote on whether they like the map or not via /y or /n or that red and green wool thingy.

Voting "yes" or "no" with the red and green wool thingy after each game could also be enforced (i.e they wont be able to move - even during the next map - until they have voted). There could also be a yellow wool to represent "It's okay", which is closer to green than red wool.

There could also be a place on the CTF forums (perhaps within Map Submissions) with threads for each map played on the New Maps Day. Here, people could vote on whether they liked the map(s) or not through a poll, and could criticize or compliment on what they liked and didn't like on the map.

I'm not sure everyone would like this or not, but after each game there could also be a 45 second waiting period till the map changes so players could go online to post their opinions on the map they just played (if not, then it will stay as 15 seconds).

This idea could help make CTF more fun, more interesting, more popular (which is good for Brawl), and lets us explore and choose new maps for future map waves.

Please feel free to provide any criticism below, e.g "Ring, your idea sucks - never post again!", or "Kudos to this idea!"

Also, please take the poll above. Thanks!

I'd say that mods could choose some maps they were thinking of for the next wave on a random friday and play them on an occupied server. This would allow them to test out the functionality without putting in a terrible map permanently.

This is a good idea. One problem though is some people just put /n all the time and some just put nothing (because there's only 15 sec after the match). To be completely honest, some maps that were really good didn't get in and the bad ones got in (no offense, just my opinion). So really a good way to vote for a new map to come in the next wave should be during or after the game as not that many people go on the forums.

Okay, I put in "voting is enforced". I'm hoping that people won't mindlessly do /n or choose the red wool for each map, including ones they actually like
