Idea Engineer revival / rework

    First lets discuss engineer (Keep in mind these are from my viewpoints and my general knowledge of the publics affiliations with engineer)

    Why is engineer disliked by a lot of players?
    - Its a camping class.
    - Turret's auto aim
    - Mass teleportation of players
    - Its limited to many areas
    - (My personal top reason) Its not that fun / game interactive!!!!!!

    So I thought to myself how can engineer be turned into a more action packed character while still retaining a majority of their qualities

    Here is my redesign for the engineer class to give it more player to game interaction (I hope you enjoy it! <3 )

    Armor:
    Helm- Iron
    Chest- Leather (Orange dyed)
    Pants- Leather ( Orange dyed)
    Boots- Iron
    (Why the orange dye you may ask? Because cosmetics in games is a very important aspect imagine if mage's damage spell only shot an arrow and didn't puff up in an explosion of vibrant colors, see??? its not the same.
    Secondly color coding classes makes it easier to identify from a distance)


    Inventory:
    Slot1- Diamond pickaxe (Sharpness 1 and knock back 1)
    Slot2- 4 steak
    Slot3- Wood Sword (Turret Controller)
    Slot4- Exit teleporter (This turns into the entrance teleporter after the exit has been placed)
    Slot5- 3 dispensers (Turrets / Sentry guns)
    Slot6- Cake (Regenerator)
    Slot7- (Empty / banner location)
    Slot8- Class selection star
    Slot9- Compass

    Here are engineers three main aspects and how they will change in this rework (I will try to keep everything as simplified as I can)
    1.) The teleporters
    2.) The Turret
    3.) The regenerator
    Note** For my changes to be made I believe it would be necessary to greatly shrink the limits of engineers placement abilities and or make them non existent (maybe within 10 blocks of the flag)
    1.) Lets start off with covering the teleporter

    The current teleporter is a one way teleporter starting from the entry teleporter to the exit, It takes three seconds for a player to go through it and they are at the exit portal.
    The new teleporter changes its role a lot differently

    Here are key qualities for the engineer teleporters in this rework
    1.) Only the engineer can use their teleporters
    2.) Teleporters range for teleportation is 5 block in radius from the pressure plate
    3.) Teleporters instantly break when used and the teleporter is set back to the exit teleporter in the inventory
    4.) After 4 seconds of the entrance teleporters placement if the engineer is within range they will teleport if not within range the teleporters break and must be replaced again.

    The teleporters are now to be used as engineer's utility for maneuvering and escaping from tricky situations and the exit must be placed Before the entrance.
    **Note, The enemy team can still break the exit teleporter before it is activated.

    2.) Now we will be discussing the turret (s)
    The current turret is a permanent placement (unless broken) and can operate on its own will

    Here are the key qualities for the engineer turret (s) in this rework
    1.) An engineer can have up to 3 turrets placed at a time
    2.) Turrets can only be manually fired
    3.) Once an engineer selects his sword all turrets attack faster and do more damage but only shot towards where the engineer is clicking.
    4.) When placing a turret engineer can look anywhere and have it be placed with a max range of 15 blocks (This means it can be placed within the sky when looking up) The dispenser also will no longer have a post sticking from underneath it.
    5.) A turret will have a 10 second charge up time and will last for 110 seconds before deactivating or being broken (or recalled)
    6.) Once a turret despawns from its lifespan or it is broken the engineer will receive a new turret
    7.) An engineer can recall a placed turret by punching their turret slot, This will destroy / readd the turret to their inventory in the order that they have been placed newest to oldest (Say two are placed, the engineer aims the third but misses, they can punch and the third one breaks only, two more punchs however will break the other two turrets as well)
    8.) turrets can not exist near other turrets or structures
    **Note, If the engineer recalls a turret it will reset the charge up time

    The turrets are now used as engineers base attack / defense method and can be arranged in many different tactical formations.

    3.) Last but not least the Regenerator
    The current regenerator is a cake that charges slices that fully heal when eaten

    Here are the key qualities for the regenerator in this rework
    1.) The cake is no longer used
    2.) The regenerator looks of a glass block corresponding to the teams color with a quartz slab on top that
    3.) The regenerator heals players within a 5 block radius with regeneration 2
    4.) It must be placed on the ground and if broken the engineer must wait 10 seconds before it can be placed again
    5.) If fully healed standing by the regenerator for 6 seconds will refill your steak supply



    I hope this creates a possibility to end engineer's bad reputation and have more a more strategy and fun based CTF match in minecraft
