Stuff to do when you're bored in CTF

    Have you ever been bored out of your mind in CTF? Well, you should try doing some of the stuff listed below! Yes, it might ruin your KDR, but honestly, who cares about that?

    1- Try to get onto a block that doesn't kill you in the enemy's spawn. You can do this with elf or ninja, and it will usually provide you with a good challenge, especially with elf.

    2- Try and reach the spawnbox. This is possible in many maps, such as Castle Cavern, Skyworlds, Aquafus (the old one), Opposites Collide, Moria, and the new map Well. Generally, this requires the use of ninja.

    3- Block glitch into glass in the enemy's flagroom. Why that location exactly? Because then you can troll the other team's randees, and it will also give you the challenge of not getting killed. This, once again, requires the ninja class.

    4- Attempt dwarf capping. It's hard, especially without support. But hey, if you wanna waste several minutes of the game, then go ahead!

    5- Just kill*****. Go a class that you find fun and just kill everything in sight. Simple as that.

    6- Try to reach normally inaccessible places in the map as ninja, elf or soldier.

    7- See if you can find an area that's impossible to recover from, then steal the flag and stalemate in that area. Cases of unrecoverable spots are generally with 2x1 block entrances, that you then block with engineer turret(s). 2 maps where this is possible would be Horbi Arboribus and (maybe, haven't checked yet) Castle Cavern.

    8- Try to escape the map on any map that's enclosed. This includes Moria, Castle Cavern, Geo, Atlantis, etc. This would require, yet again, the ninja class.

    9- Try to make conversation with another player. Whether it's a debate, a friendly talk, or a flame war, interacting with other players is always a good way to spend your time.

    And finally, 10- Play something else. If CTF is getting boring or getting on your nerves, the simplest solution is to just log off, and play something else.

    Or maybe play with a friend :nailbiting:

    I guess you could also try reaching the leaderboards in caps, kills, recoveries, or something because that is a goal and goals motivate you

    I don't think playing with someone who farms captures is a fun pastime.
    This is why I don't have a lot of friends. :frowning:

    Throwback to when soldiers could get to the outside top of the original Moria via a secret tunnel only reachable by wall-climbing? Man we used to get like 20 people up there and all take off our armor and hit each other.

    For being a person who claims to be an engi main, I generally just /random and make do with whatever the game decides to give me (special case made with dwarf where I dun wanna move at a snails pace for the entire game) and gotta say, number 5 as heavy is super satisfying when you can strafe real good
