Regarding joeymast99's Ban

mmk. I feel that joey deserves another chance as long as this is enforced ^^.

 

I am undecided on this. He is a criminal on the federal level. Even if this sounds mean, it is the facts. However, he has tried to change, so good for him. I say that we should unban him, and after a month the community gets to vote anon about him. Anything would get him banned however. A single OOM, or c4 glitch would get him banned perm.

I literally never thought you would do this, like ever.
Like, a year ago you would never have given him this chance, that's really great to see you doing this.
I feel he should be unbanned, but on a VERY thin tolerance.
If he should make one DDoS threat, even if it's joking he should be banned.

People make mistakes, nobody is perfect. He has tried to change, and I really think he has learned his lesson. I think he should be pardoned.

I was a close friend of joey, but I will speak my unbiased opinion here.

Yes, he did some bad things, yes many people had mixed feelings about him, but I have been in contact with him and I really think he has changed.

Think of it this way, a few months ago kcl was in a similar appealing situation to joey, but it was said he did worse things. When kcl got banned all of the community hated him, heck, I even remember seeing a thread where someone said kcl's profile picture gave him nightmares. For the longest time we thought, kcl did awful things and he will never come back, but look, he did. And he made an unexpected change.
I'm sure that if a thread like this was made for kcl at the time of his unban, there would have been different feedback, but the staff took his situation into their own hands and kcl made the best of it, keeping out of trouble since his unban.

I think its only fair that if kcl was given an opportunity to come back and redeem himself, that Joey should get the same treatment.

But you have my word, I have observed him and I do not think he will disappoint you guys.

Joeymast has been done for his criminal and malicious activity and banned from MC-Brawl servers. I remember when he even almost got moderator, he used to be a friendly kind member not until he reached the power of something which can take down peoples internet and not just that, games and websites. This is why I felt that he'd always ddos me, that's the feeling for lots of people. And why he needed to wait.

But now, it's seems like he's really wanting to play again on everything and be himself, I think he's changed into the good member he was at start, if not and still carry's on with all this malicious activity, he will be punished again.

 

Yes but make sure he is closely monitored.

 

I honestly think he is ready to be unbanned. I am not saying this because of who he is, or because we were friends, but because he stopped DDoS'ing & the malicious activity.

Let's take @kcl729 for example. He has said this himself: He did much worse than Joey ever did, or even would, and he was offered a second chance.

Even @LuckyPop has admitted to DDoS, but quit because he thought he was being stupid. In that video (or the first one), Joey said "I was an idiot".

 

I don't even know what to say.. Of course I'm gonna say to unban him because he's my friend and all but just thinking that I'm the reason he even has to make this appeal is sickening to me...

Yes, Joey definitely deserves the unban. Please give him another chance. I once hated him, but from hearing him talk and reading his appeal I believe he needs another chance.

 

Even though nobody can simply "change", it is obvious that he feels great guilt for his actions.

If he were to be unbanned, which I support, he would need to be put on a tight metaphorical leash. Any form of malicious activity will not be tolerated and result in his final ban. After about a month or two we can see if he really is trying to change.

Considering that Joey rages pretty hard concerns me a lot. I do support him being unbanned. However Joey must be careful on what he rages about otherwise it can result very badly...

 

I believe that joey had changed sufficiently for him to be given a trial. Although I do not support what he had done, he should have one more chance to prove that he has changed.

 

I vote unban. He's changed.
