What can I say, man. It's been one hell of a ride.
One thing I love about the internet is that you really have the opportunity to experience one's personality- It really doesn't matter what you look like, or how you sound, or how good your hearing is.
When I first recruited you for my clan, I had this feeling you'd be a good player, and a good friend.
For a lot of people, I think, Brawl does serve as an escape-- a place to get away from it all- a place for all those 'wierdoes', and outcasts (not saying everyone here falls into these categories); a place for those who are overly shy, and a place to be accepted, appreciated; a community of gamers, each building off each others ideas, strengths and weaknesses. A website in which friendships span cities, entire continents, encircling the entire globe, a site that transcends the bounds of the internet through email, skype, etc. This is a place of refuge. Of acceptance.
This place is more than just a site, it's a living, breathing, sentient community-one that is bigger than each and all of us.
You, my friend, have become a vital part of this community.
