Moderating MC-WarZ

Ahhh..... One of these again.

1. Moderators can do next to nothing regarding hackers - Our moderators alert Super-Moderators & Admins about hackers on the servers, so then a higher member of staff will join the server, spectate the suspect hacker and then ban if necessary. Moderators are used mainly to moderate chat.
2. Our moderators do have lives, hard to believe but they really do! Yes, some of our moderators happen to be friends with eachother, they're not robots. A lot of them are teamed and at times, we have to let them enjoy WarZ as any other does and let them play together. If we don't allow them to do this, they get bored and resign.
3. Finally, if you do happen to notice a spammer or an advertiser as such, you can simply report it yourself and whoever is handling reports will deal with the issue. Or you can either contact a moderator quickly via the forums / TS and they'll rush on to resolve the issue. Not too difficult, right?

 

Ever hear of having fun?

 

They do that too often, i msg a lot of mods and I send them clips of hackers, yet they don't respond and say idc

 

How can they say "idc" if they don't respond?

 

This has been happening with this group of mods. Simply they are playing Mc-WarZ but it is true they haven't been spreading themselves out monitoring the other ten Mc-WarZ servers.

 

Mods do not handle hacker reports. It is your job to report those hackers on the forums rather than sending it to moderators who have no jurisdiction to ban those players.

 

Maybe they shouldn't have accepted everyone in holy. Just a thought.

 

What key combo does that entity box again? I forgot it.
Anyways, it was a Team Holy vs. Tipper jakob edr and a couple others and me so of course they came on.

 

LuckyPop tried to prevent this issue from happening by creating his own team rather than staying with Team Holy.

 

Everything said by Peas and Lamp is true, but, 5 staff on 1 server? That's pushing it.

You can help us out by reporting hackers and other rule breakers you see. When a rule breaker report is submitted it will notify a SMod or Admin and they will deal with the problem.

 

We can have fun too you know.

They ALWAYS play in a big team of all these mods :I
I feel that if they are able to get moderator they should be able to control themselves and play a little bit by themselves.
If they are applying for mod, they should still get to play with their team but if they want mod they should realize that means less time with a team :L

 

Five moderators at a time? Nostalgia.
I was once on one server by myself all of a sudden 3 other moderators popped up, I uploaded one clip of that day.

Moderators, are meant to mainly looking after the chat but hacker reports or also in there but not as much.
Moderators can have fun is well, they shouldn't be looked down upon by having fun but some people might not understand. Moderators are nearly the same as the default player, before they were only having fun...
Besides those tryhards who do anything for moderator.

 

It's fine by me if they do it once in a while, but it's unacceptable when done all the time. The other WarZ servers are basically unmoderated, all the time.
The WarZ mods need to split up more often.

 

This is why an idea with a team full of WarZ moderator's isn't a good idea.
@LuckyPop is actually being reasonable with this by leaving that team and creating his own.

 

Mods can have fun, but this is what's happening 99% of the time! There should really be a 3-mod-limit per server.

When I was mod, I didn't go:

Hey, @rainywolvess, @Giggadream, @Mrcowlick, @VforVenom and @Urkogun, we're all WarZ staff, let's go play together on a server, screw the other servers!

No. And if you won't listen to me, a retired to mod, listen to rainy. Whenever I accidentally went on a server she was on, she told me to shoo, I hope she's kept up the habit.

And if you just want to enjoy the perks of being a moderator without actually doing anything,then please resign, there are plenty of other people who want to be WarZ mod who wouldn't waste it (@KingYudo, @cBeeaR and myself).
