Resignation Time to Take my Leave. -snowtucs

Hello everyone! (Look out! This thread is lengthy...)

Yep, it's that time. After over a year if great times modding for CTF, I'm stepping down.

My reason is this: As you may or may not know, Brawl has high expectations of their mods' activity on the servers. I totally agree with this, and think it is a very good thing for the community and the server as a whole. However, as many of you know, I am usually very busy with irl stuff. Therefore, I've decided it will be best for everyone if I resign my position as mod and make room for others who might be more active.

I will not be gone forever - I'm probably going to be semi-inactive, but I'll definitely play CTF and check on Skype and the forums every so often. If you need anything or just want to chat, send me a message on Skype and I'll get back to you as soon as I see it.

One last thing to say: Guys, whether you believe this or not, the mods really truly do care about CTF. Many of them have spent more than a year devoting their time to make the gamemode better. Before I was a moderator I admired the other mods, but not until I became one myself did I truly respect how much these people mean to the gamemode. Each morning I would wake up, log into Skype, and be able to jump into a debate about instakills or new classes or just about anything else, simply because we wanted to brainstorm how to make CTF even more fun. Yes, things may not happen quickly, but that's because the mods care enough to try to get them right the first time. And so I think we all need to pay our respects to our amazing moderators for all of their dedication and hard work. Thank you guys, and I'm eternally grateful to have been a part of the Illuminati family.

Before I wrap up this thread, I'd like to give some shout outs to other people who have made my time at CTF amazing. If you aren't mentioned, it doesn't mean I don't care about you (because I really do love a ton of people here), but simply that I don't want to make this thread five miles long :3

• @b0b4444 - My best friend irl and in CTF, you've been an amazing leader of TFW and I know we will have many more great times in the future.
• @RTKno1 - Although I'm usually too busy to talk much, I never want you to think I didn't care about you, because you are honestly one of the most fun people I've ever known. Here's to many more great laughing fits in the days to come!
• @ShadowLugiaEX - You know it really means something when I like you this much even when your brain is polluted with rap (hehe). You're a really amazing friend and an incredible team leader.
• @Elliott_Moose - You're such a cool guy, even despite the fact that I'm pretty sure 50% of my deaths were headshots from you!
• @Moose101 - Wait, why am I thanking myself? Dude, you're super cool - keep it up!
• @NomNuggetNom - Awesome admin? Scary good coder? Great friend? How about all of the above?
• @Birdgirl - Somehow I find you super awesome, even despite the fact that you somehow are in love with that Nom guy.
• @Quarrelt - Damn, we go way back. Your trial merc-ness is so eternal that you are older than most of TFW... But despite that fact that you are the lowest in ranking, you are on the the greatest CTF friends I have. <3
• @aRandomBob157 - I've never seen a dude handle that many hoes at once. Keep it up, man. (Srsly tho, you're really cool).
• @Nohox - You are an awesome guy and the definition of a devoted mod. I don't know too many EU people, but I'm so glad to have met you.
• @Hanatamago_San - Hanatomato_Sand, you are another one of the funest people I know. I'm going to miss all the good times teleporting you around the map obnoxiously... Maybe now you'll be able to get your revenge
• @Pavocado - The fact that you care enough about CTF to stay around this long really means a lot. Plus, I've considered you to be godlike ever since you ACTUALLY changed your name to Pavocado xD
• @Decelvice / @Xelia_ / @b0squet - I haven't known you guys very long, but I have high hopes for all of you. I'm sure you'll all turn out to be great mods!

For TFW: You guys make me so proud. To have had the privilege of leading a team of such awesome people makes me so happy, and I know that you will continue to be amazing. It's not everyday that you find a team that doesn't care whether the win or lose because they are having such a great time.

For TW: You all are a really fun bunch, and I've had so many great times being merc for you over the last year. I wish all of the original members were still active, but even the more recent joins have been great people.

For the Mods: You guys are all amazing, and I'll miss helping you so much. I know you will continue to make CTF a better place for us all.

For the Community: I don't think you guys realize how truly important you are. The community is the caring backbone of any game - it weathers both good times and bad, because it's members love the game so much. Without all of you CTF lovers, this game would not be nearly as successful, and not nearly as fun.
