Making War Less pay2win

dude getting past levl 70 is no easy work. Also getting past 100 is well very hard and takes time

 

but getting over 70 even 100 its like um its just too long. Ima not even past 70 yet and ive been playing for 4 years now

 

I've been playing like few hours a day since September (no life) and I recently just level 100. So making those guns for like 100+ wouldn't really matter, because most of the 100+ people already have those donator guns..

 

true but I dont know if theyre gonna accept woudlnt just paying 5 bucks for a donator gun be faster

 

Well thats true. But even then them trying to get to level 70 is going to be a hard feat

 

Just wait for the CoD server. Yes, I think the server should be less p2w, but I doubt they are going to change anything at this point.

Updates on Mc-War have come to a stop because of the #soonerthanever CoD server, with new guns and gamemodes.

It won't be an update. War 2.0 will be a totally new server with its own mechanics and system. The current version of Mc-War will be preserved in the form of a "Legacy" server. All of your stats on this server will stay the same, but everyone will likely start anew on 2.0. For information, please view the thread 'The Future of Brawl.' And as for your 1st idea @GeothermalSucks, I'd much rather let newbies level up naturally without using ulterior motives for their personal gain. I definitely do not want to see level 9s with kdrs greater than 4. I feel like those people are mocking me for my 2.74 kdr. %*^# me.

 

If this happened, many players would want refunds for their donation guns. In the end just wait for 2.0, a whole new server would mean we can do this.

 

1. Doesn't that make it even more pay to win?
2. I'm not sure if I'd like to see that. Like BD said, most high level players already have a certain amount of donor guns. This may leed to a few people keeping their money and playing to reach that level, but I think that in the end the most people will still donate for it. And I'd like to keep those guns donor guns. Just my opinion.

 

If you already got the Skullcrusher and Isolator, the donator weapons are obsolete.

Sorry, didn't even read your statement. Just answeribg already because your title is wrong. War is not pay2win.

 

I'm going to have to side with those who think mc-war is fine as is. Primarily.
The only thing I think should be changed is the perks, which feel like something that would be purchased with in game currency rather than donating. But otherwise, the donator weapons are so situational that you aren't really missing out as long as your good with a standard weapon. Just figure the game out to the point that you become difficult to kill rather than fodder. Thats how I did it before I got the donator weaponry. (it wasn't as worth it as some non donors think, sorry)
