Mass Engineers in this match, but the real reason why?

We already finished the ingame command /report, added the Slack Hacker Report Chat and invented the rank Moderator, all this to handle hackers faster and more efficient.
However, it is illusory to think that there will ever be no hackers on the servers or staff members online 24 hours a day. This is impossible and will never happen

All we can do is banning as many hackers as possible and to do that we need players to help us through telling us about possible hackers via Slack and /report or, even better, recording and reporting them at report.brawl.com.

 

I doubt you'd want that. Kitpvp has(had?) a crappy anti-cheat system that really screwed up the pvp. idk when Knohax will be ready. Right now Brawl's priority's should be to fix major bugs and issues (Build's WE isn't working. That's a major issue). In the meantime, you can get slack and spend your time reporting instead of complaining

 

Join the slack group. CTF hackers are banned there ALL the time. Nohox seems to be banning left and right, and it is very easy to report there.
Not so much for my sg problems >_< but that's ok.

I'm surprised NoCheat+ doesn't kick for flying when it does so on the other servers.

The longest time I had to wait was one hour. But this was at noon, and honestly you can't expect mods to be online while they're eating (EU mods) or just woke up (US mods). Sure, the three fly-hackers were annoying, but it couldn't have been easier to record them, it was pretty obvious. Yes, they ruined the game, and unfortunately, @Decelvice wasn't able to kick them because the command was bugged somehow, but this was really an exception.
I remember how you kinda raged yesterday and told Nohox to "Tell Brawl to ban hackers". Funnily enough, everytime he came on and I saw you saying that, he came on within three minutes because he got alerted from slack.

I let the hackers know they're really bad by headshotting them mid air. Filthy trash cant even cap a flag while cheating.

 

@silvah777 actually I got so annoyed at them I started pyroing the hackers. It got rid of them for about 3 seconds before they flyhacked back. They also got wise to it and flew into water after dying a couple times to it. It did work for a couple minutes, but didn't manage to keep them off much longer

 

The madness on Engineers is arrows shooting them.

 

Yeah what happened to knohax? Why couldn't it just be ported over?

I tried pyro on one of the frequent speed hackers on brawl and I can now say it's much harder than it was on mcpvp

No, a lot of players are miffed that only senior moderators can ban. All mods can actually do is record and report. Or at least that's what it sounds like.

 

Moderators are now also allowed to ban permanently after getting evidence of the player hacking.
