    Hiya everybody -
    As some of you might already know, today marks two months since MCPVP shut down. I'm personally very sad today, and I thought I'd check in with you guys to see how you CTFers feel with this post. Some of us have had an easy time adjusting and have hardly noticed a difference in the transition, and others have had a hard time. I'm sort of inbetween, I guess.

    Some CTF changes/glitches that result in the move that need to be changed again:

    - Flag displays are really annoying, especially for people who play Archer... Nom has a way to toggle it, but he can't upload it because the uploader is broken! D=

    - Engineer leaves behind the [||||||||||] after their turret is broken. Nom also has a fix for this, but it needs to be uploaded.

    - Ninja damage values are insane right now. The regular damage when the Ninja isn't buffed/critting is actually as much as if it WERE critting. Every class is effected by it, but only Ninja has the glitch. I dunno what the status is on this, but hopefully it can be fixed really soon... ;-; Every class is suffering, even HEAVY! O_O

    There's some things on Brawl that I really like. I'm fairly sure this list will continue to grow, but here's a couple of things I have so far:

    - Brawl's chat rules have actually let me get a few people punished for bullying me. This is fantastic, seeing as I get hated on a lot and I'm glad to see the haters get some sort of punishment. On MCPVP, they had no rules for this sort of thing. I really like this, it takes a load off my mind.

    - I'm glad to see that Brawlers have their on little inside jokes, because honestly when we moved here I wasn't sure if Brawl was going to be one of those servers that had them or not. xD It makes me feel more at home.

    - Slack! I'm super, SUPER glad that @BlueGuyARed had Brawl make a Slack for hackers. MCPVP had it and it was fantastic (although I actually kept to the unofficial Skype chat that we technically weren't supposed to be using xDDD) and it's great being able to see some of the flyhackers get banned as their flying away with the flag... It's hilarious xD

    Things I liked about MCPVP better (please don't be offended Brawl xD) :

    - Discourse forums were just much smoother than Xenforo is here, and although I've gotten used to Xenforo now, I still like Discourse much better. It'd be cool if Brawl could give Discourse a try sometime, although non-MCPVPers (some MCPVPers like Xenforo better, too) seem rather stubborn about it. =( No offense to those people, they're entitled to their opinion too!

    - The style that MCPVP did everything in was consistent, and even though updating things was practically non-existent (especially for CTF) I still liked the way they did things.

    - MCPVP's anticheat was fantastic, and I miss it horribly, but luckily Brawl is working on formatting MCPVP's anticheat to fit their servers. YAY =DD Can't wait for that.

    - I have more but I can't think of it at the moment lol, I'll put more if I think of them.

    It's going ok I think, I'm kinda somewhere in the middle. The gameplay is still good. We seem to have an even higher focus on killing than on mcpvp actually which I'm still getting used to. Other than that, it's alright

    Eh, even though they've done things I personally wouldn't have done and things I don't personally like and think logical (cough banners cough / cough subtitles cough), I feel that they have done a great job hosting our servers and doing their best to help out whenever and where ever possible.

    I'm personally fine with it, but there are a few things that annoy me (cough cough every round has min 1 hacker cough cough) And a lack of CTF events recently. All sorts of things for like hunger games and WarZ but nothing for CTF which IMO is the best gamemode. Other than that it's fine, the banners don't bother me to much.

    Adjusting to the chat censor will always be a struggle for me personally, but other than that I'm cool with everything else. Flying brawl-randy-heavys always make matches exciting =)

    I can't say that I'm not starting to adjust but i also can't say that i wouldn't want MCPVP to still be alive.

    I agree, I liked the forums on McPvP more, but I've gotten used to these so w/e.
    I feel like I haven't adjusted, I play SG mainly now, and HG/CTF feel different. I still enjoy them, it just feels weird that I am using a hub and such.

    The switch is good IMO, but it sucks to know the golden age of McPvP is 100% gone.

    I like the leisurely staff system of MCPVP better than that of Brawl. It's annoying to swear offhandedly, like "you're a sexy mother****er," and be censored. On the other hand, I like that Brawl rules are written in concrete and mods can't adapt them to personal preference.

    As far as the game goes, I enjoy it a lot less than I once did, but that's okay. I hop on more for nostalgic purposes than anything else. I'm sure the switch will be better for CTF's popularity, but I'll admit: my heartstrings still tug a little whenever I catch sight of my old forum.mcpvp.com bookmark.

    Whoever hates u has to go through me xd anyway. I agree with most of it just wanna add when an engos item gets destroyed it won't come back to the inv and also when an engi dies it loses all of its stuff.

    I don't see the difference.... but that's probably because I wasn't too active before MCPVP shut down.. I actually didn't know it even did until I saw someone's skype status... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    So yep, 'adjusting' great.. Except like cactusflower said, I kinda miss how staff on MCPVP seemed more leisurely..

    i dont see the point of judging anything yet, ctf is still in beta so stuff is defo subject to change

    but with staff and stuff i quite like how brawl has adapted to a hacker system more similar to mcpvp, despite the fact some brawl regs i spoke to said that brawl wont change anything just cuz we are from mcpvp.

    I'm ok with it is now, but that is because I know that they are trying to add stuff like an anti-cheat system (YAY!) and other glitches / bugs. I do really miss the discourse forums, because it was so good xD, but I'm getting used to these forums.

    anti cheat system like mcpvp
    better mods
