For the most part, the transition from MCPVP to Brawl was fairly smooth. Obviously they have a different staff system than our old one so of course that's something we're gonna have to get used to but I completely understand where the ex-staff and some current staff are coming from. We had a lot of authority before, much more than moderators have on most servers. The ability to ban on sight without proof, running events, implementing minor changes like map waves, were all stuff that we were lucky to be able to do. I will say that I am not content right now, nor will I be until matches are back. While I hope this is soon, I'm not sure how soon it will actually be since we're having some other major bug issues. Now in terms of the actual game, yeah it's pretty much the same for the most part (except for killer FPS lag), despite all the useless debates about wool vs. banners. I'm really glad that most of you guys are being patient with us during these times and for those of you waiting on matches, hang in there. I want them just as bad as you do.

One small thing I've noticed with the move is the increase in ratio to "newer players" to more "experienced players". Back when MCPVP owned CTF, you would see about a 50-50 ratio for this. Nowadays with brawl, I see about a 70-30 ratio in new players to experienced players. Not a problem at all, whoever i would like to see a way for new players to get a better introduction into this game, instead of them simply hitting whatever player they can find of the different colored team with heavy. If we did introduce some sort of "noob friendly" introduction type of thing to ctf, I could see this community to actually become larger than MCPVP's CTF community was; it would just take patience and effort.
