    So, uh just a little thing to think about.

    What would happen if Medic was removed from CTF entirely? Im not saying to do it, im not saying not too. I wana know what everyone would think of it, all the up's and down's. Debate it or somthing.

    I main medic so I would go... or switch to archer. :stuck_out_tongue:

    For the removing the support class, yes it would do that. So what happens when you get low on health and have the flag? You could die with it and it would get recover or another player woud pick it up. Once you start to get low you can pass it off to a buddy right, thats team work and makes the person feel better then just spam healing you. It would, in a way also be a soldier nerf, it would make it easyer to recov without a way to heal. It would also remove the need for insta-kills, think about it. If they cant get healed back you can keep going back and never need to one shot them? Right?

    It may disrupt a little teamwork, but what happens on the other side?

    It'd make flag poisoning quite powerful, and it'd make it so that you'd need to do more than typing /medic and hitting a few people if you want to support your team. It'd make working as a team harder, so less people would work as a team so generally it wouldn't be too good.

    It'd also remove the best Pyro counter. :'(

    Medic is an odd class. If we say its purpose is to heal and make it that way, then nobody would want to play it.
    So, what SHOULD a medic be?
    I think medic should have its own benefit to healing others. That's why I propose that medic be changed to have a healing aura that gives all people in it regeneration 1 and an extra regeneration for every other person in it. This can be activated by shift blocking. The aura can be active for 5 seconds at most, and if active for the full time, it restores everyone's items, even the medic's.
    This fixes medic's, well, odd role of both healing and being able to cap (interestingly).

    I think that it's weird that a support class can cap. But then again... CHEMIST

    Some people cap with dwarf, which class cant be used for capping my friend ;P?

    If a class would be only about clicking your team mates, it would be boring, wouldn't it?
    And since it is pyro's main counter of course it plays an important role in capping, making the class more strategic and fun to play.

    I would imagine that you would probably see a lot of people running into spawn to do /(class) for an item refill....

    The objective of the game would be 10x harder.

    • No one to heal flag holder
    • No one to heal melee
    • No one to heal archers to refresh items
    • Chaos throughout ctf
    • Disaster and insanity will collaborate
    Just over all, like i said, the game would be so much more harder because believe it or not, you actually not only get mad at medics on your own team or the other for not healing or what ever, it's worth it if they do heal.
