Many people agree the current rotation is boring.

 

And who are those people? Regulars?

 

I hear pretty much everybody complaining about the current rotation.

 

Except, you're hearing it from regulars, not new people, therefore supporting my position that noobs don't give a pie about maps...

 

I'm hearing plenty of new people saying "this map AGAIN" in chat

 

Took you long enough.
Also, get me pics. If plenty of them are saying that, it shouldn't be hard.

 

I don't screenshot people complaining and I don't need to give you proof for everything I say. And I don't like you saying "took you long enough" I take it as aggressive and derogatory.

I would love to see the old maps weren't all that game breaking.

 

I still remember mods putting old maps into the game at random opportunities beck in McPvP, so I think they could do this again.

 

I'd like to see more reworks of maps not in the rotation and also a re evaluation of classics such as Starlight and Pagodas

 

I believe that it should happen at random points. So like of there's a mod on and people want some old maps. The mod could ask for the maps they would like. And then the mod sets them.

 

Am I the only one around here who wants graveyard back in the rotation?

Lets get something straight first of all. Free-day should stay because it gets more people in. Plus it gives new people the chance to play with the premium classes so they can decide if they want to buy it. Plus if you don't want to play on Friday, then don't. Plus, all I see you do now-a-days is go after noobs with pyro and you call yourself good. Plus not that many people like your idea of removing free-day, so please stop talking about it. Free-day gets business for Brawl. I personally don't try on free-days, I just have fun and try the classes.

Now to the topic of this idea. I love this idea, but I think it should be on a Monday, like sporty said, called "Old Map Monday". Plus we can always tell the Brawl peeps that it was a old map. Maybe have like 5 old maps in the rotation every time we have this.

 

I think the best way to use old maps was to play them in random casual events. Mods, myself included, would sometimes play them if players had requests, especially later at night (from an EST perspective) when there weren't as many people on and it was a more chill atmosphere. That way, mods would play the old maps that people wanted, instead of the crappy ones that no one missed, and it wouldn't span all servers, just one that people could go to by choice.
It also worked best spreading by word of mouth instead of a server-wide announcement. Old maps aren't something to make a huge deal over, it's better as an uncommon, casual event where the players can get a say in requests and such.

 

The problem with such word of mouth casual events is that myself among other people who want to attend don't get informed.

 

Honestly, the best way to fix that is to join the Global CTF Chat or something similar.

 

What happened if u get denied like I did. I mean cos I get up early in GMT I sometimes got 30 mins to an hour of it.
