Idea Finally fixing banners:

    So, this would make banners both everything wool was for gameplay and everything banners are for aesthetics.

    1. Banners stay banners at the flag.
    2. When holding the banner, a fountain of banners come out of your head and the banner block does not replace the helmet.
    3. When dropped, the flag drops as an item alone.
    4. When dropped, fireworks set off once per second at the site of the flag.

    honestly I wish they'd add all of this but 2, this'd look even more derpy than it is now - they should have a blue beacon light out of the head of whoever has the blue flag and a red beacon light out of the head of whoever has the red flag

    I agree with SoCool a beacon would look mazing but instead of fireworks a beacon goes up where the flag is dropped

    This doesn't fix all the issues with banners in my opinion. Also, it defeats the purpose of having banners. If we go back to wool, we should just go back to wool.

    Agreed, but staff have made it clear that they're not going to change back to wool (for some stupid reason)

    The purpose of having banners was to "update the look of the game"
    I'm pretty sure /hat has been around for a looooong time, but /make item fountain hasn't.

    My big issue is the fact that you can't circle around the flag to grab it, as well as the inability to block while facing the banner.
