ELF

Elf is really bad please do something to it. It serves very little purpose in the game. It was designed to be a bandaid for classes like Mage, Soldier, Pyro, and Archer but it performs terribly at countering them. Mage's can disrupt shields with their lightning or wait for the shield to run out, Soldiers can easily resume climbing after an earth spell, water takes longer to activate than for a Pyro to click, and archers can move one block to the side to easily avoid a deflected arrow. If a class is gonna be a bandaid at least make it effective.
Also the fact that the bows have to be fully drawn to do anything makes no sense when Elf dies in three hits and in the time it takes to pull a bow out an opponent can land four. It can be argued that the resistance from the water element can be used to tank another quarter second but seriously who has the time to do that before every fight? And a lot of times it wears off early into a battle so it doesn't even make that much of a difference.

Pure element might actually be useful in taking out heavily armored classes but when a million fire particles are cluttering your vision it's kind of hard to see anything.
Earth element doesn't do much other than cause a mini freeze that can easily be recovered from. It deals tiny damage so it's not useful in combat either.
The wind element pushes players a couple blocks maximum and it's extremely difficult to land a shot that makes players go where you want them. The flying ability is also inconvenient because you have to look the opposite direction of where you're going which means a lot of the time you're completely oblivious of your surroundings.

I don't think that much needs to be done to Elf for it to become somewhat useful. It can't take more than twenty minutes to reduce particles, increase some damage outputs, increase durations and maybe do something fancy somewhere.

Please do something to Elf. It used coding time that could have been used for something else more important. When it was released most players were extremely disappointed because it didn't do the job it was created to fulfill. It has a lot of potential to help balance CTF and all we need is a little bit of effort from the coders.
