    Some people who know me know that I'm not great on offense. And even so, I find elf to be a great capping class.
    1. Make your merry way over to your enemy's general flag area.
    2. Optimally find a drop-in point on top of the flag, use Wind Element while looking up to push yourself downward without taking fall damage when you jump in.
    3. Don't jump in yet. Fully charge your Water Element and splash yourself, giving yourself Resistance effect for 6 seconds. (Time it well; you can only refresh it after the effect fades.)
    4. Now jump in.
    5. Take the flag like stealing candy from a bunch of virtual babies.
      • If there's a pyro, hold your Water Element, extinguish yourself whenever you find that you're on fire. Otherwise, bat people away with your sword while you wait in agony for the flag to pop into your hotbar.
    6. Run away from the people who want to kill you. If necessary (likely), spin around 180 degrees and fly backwards with your Wind Element, which is faster than sprinting. Then turn back around and keep running.
    7. If you have pesky pursuers, try to fly across as much rough terrain as possible, i.e. water, hills, walls, friendly players (who hopefully have the sense to cover you), etc.
    8. In all the previous steps, use as little steak as possible. Your best chance against recovery ninjas is using your sword (3-shots them), and you're bound to take damage from them.
    9. Find a medic if you're in a flag stalemate, since leather armor doesn't keep you alive very well as opposed to soldier's iron armor.
    And finally: Capture the flag.

    Another tip: Your Wind Element is your best friend when you're trying to get places fast. If the flag room is large (for example, Lighthouse V) and difficult to get into, just fly your way in. Flying your way out of a mob of players is also useful.

    If you've read this and you own the elf class, I dare you to start going offense with it. You don't even have to be skilled with a bow! The results may surprise you.

    Also, if you see an archer shooting at you along the way, shift and block everytime they shoot until the arrow hits you or misses.

    Capping is capturing the flag, camping is sitting in one place, killing a lot of people. Recov(v)ing is recovering the flag.

    I usually run in reverse f5 with the flag. Just so I can defensively block incoming head shots.

    Well you could do some sneaky reverse f5 stuff and block when an assassin is assassinating you from behind.
    Tbh I'd rather die from a ninja than get head shotted by an archer...
