Idea Elf Water Element Change

    As it is now, the water bow is either on or off. You either get the buffs, or you don't. This limits many options the elf could have had if it was more incremental.

    The concept of resistance buffing from range weps is a good idea in concept, but when paired with the underwhelming numbers with the water element, it becomes one of the least rounded weapons the elf has. I tried to keep the main idea of the water element while making it less situational, and more practical by changing the numbers.

    Extinguish ability is kept the same.
    Resistance is now incremental, resistance given is now factored by how long elf held arrow in bow. (Possibly 2 of resistance : 1 second held in bow) Will have a max resistance time cap
    Water breathing will be also be given incrementally, only starting after bow is fully charged. Will have a max water breathing time cap.
    Fire resistance will be given at an incremental rate from when bow starts charging til when bow is fully charged. Water breathing will then replace fire resistance after bow is fully charged.

    Example timeline:
    Elf starts charging an arrow
    Resistance time starts to go up
    Fire resistance time starts to go up
    Bow is fully charged
    Fire resistance will no longer be applied
    Extinguish ability will now work
    Water breathing starts to go up
    Resistance hits max cap of time
    Water breathing hits max cap of time

    I think these changes will make the water element more useful to an elf rather than just "oh I'm on fire better use this bow for the first time in 20 min" I believe the Extinguish ability is very powerful and should be kept the way it is because of the time required to charge it, meaning you usually have to be ready for a pyro arrow. I added the fire resistance as a quick easy way to counter pyro if you are on fire and being chased. This is balanced because of the time it takes to drop an arrow which the pyro could use to run to you and axe. The resistance change is to allow a quick way for elf to take less damage, which it really needs to make up for the armor it has. The resistance also promotes teamwork and counterplay. The elf could buff the offense right before they go into flag room, and the enemy can counter by killing the elf while it is charging. Water breathing is a good idea because without it elf struggles to kill pyros after charging a water bow. I don't think the time should go much beyond 1 second max charge for the amount of water breathing, but just a small change that let's the elf get the first attack before the Pyro can instakill again.

    In combination all of these ideas would make the water bow very well rounded, I never intended all of these to be together because that would be too much support for one ability. Thanks for reading.

    One word: noice.

    I very much like this idea. This makes the Water Bow much more useful without making it OP. The one thing I would suggest to change, though, is Water-Breathing. Water-Breathing would only be useful in a few maps, so that would make Elf more powerful depending on the map, which is a no-no. I recommend removing the Water-Breathing. The rest is really good.

    Water breathing makes it so you are unable to be lit on fire. I was considering it to be more of a chance for elf to attack without risk of being instakilled right after they let go of water bow.

    Just seems to much i think maybe you water element could get rid of webs or have a pyro debuff.

    I don't believe you have to know all the statistics of it to play this class, most of the ideas are just if you charge a bow, you get buffs which is nothing more than how it is currently. I can write a page on the wind element and how it works but it can also be summed up by saying left click to boost yourself, fully charge shot to knock back enemies
