So true. That also made me think of that awkward moment when I play Dwarf but I lose all my levels cause I forget to block against some Assassin -_-

Why don't you just do what Roscoe_Lim does: crouching behind a random wall and cutting those who pass by apart?

 

Exactly. xD But assassin isn't just right click left click dead. In team matches especially, although I have yet to play assassin in a match, but with everyone being experienced I imagine it would be more difficult. You also have to know the map layout incredibly well so that you know where to go to sneak up on people or hide. Plus, if you actually go for the defenses, you have to worry about, first of all, getting there while taking minimal damage, which is difficult because you are kind of an easy target. Secondly, knowing their defense and where people will be, and finally executing an assassination on the highest threats, be that a dwarf or pyro or whoever is there. Also, if no one is there to pick up the flag, you just either A. killed them for no reason or B. get the flag yourself and cap. Which is somewhat difficult because with the amount of people on these days 6 ninjas will be there in seconds. There is also mind games to be played with assassin. In a public match a few months ago I was killing a bunch of the enemies defense time after time. They eventually started to look out for me and block whenever I came and wait for a few seconds so that they made sure I wasn't gonna kill them. So basically I ran up in their flag room, everyone blocked, I took the flag without touching anyone, and ran off to a nice assassin cap. But I dont want to get into a fight of "Assassin is too op. it's a terrible class, blah blah blah" I've argued enough about that since I started maining assassin. Just my opinion on the matter.

 

Where's the fun in that? (Just got back from a camping trip, so I have no idea of what's been happening recently)

 

Nothing. This is a game of blocks, nothing special happens here.

XD Whenever I see a defense with no pyros, thats my strategy. Rush in weilding the assassinate, switch to iron sword, grab flag, leave.

 

At least you can draw much better than me, I can actually understand what's going on in the drawing!
