increase in lag in ctf

    Before, for months now on brawl, I could play ctf with flawless fps. the past couple of days has been utterly horrific. Huge amounts lag have been making things rather unplayable, and I mean freeze frame, arrow lag, rubberband lag, ninjas and assassins failing left and right(even though thats funny because no one likes them...), and a general increase in people complaining about lag. I've been checking to see if it may be on my end, but I've having no other issues except with brawl. If its not me then Brawl, get off the segway fetish site and clean up the lag.

    I think the banner is causing me to lag. I get MS lag whenever I'm in my own or the other team's flag-base or near a dropped flag, and it never used to happen on McPvP when it was wool.

    I haven't noticed a difference but i think that been around for awhile now with other ppl.

    ty i change it every week lol (mainly because I'm an asshole)

    It's the banner.

    I believe the general lag is being/was mostly fixed? I know certain changes were made to make maps less laggy and, other than banner lag, I don't seem to get lag anymore ingame.

    If you're talking about recently as in the last 2 or so days, then the upper staff is already aware of this issue considering it's impacting a big chunk of the brawl servers. I'm not exactly sure as to what it is that's acting up but I believe it's something related to the BAC (Brawl Anti-Cheat). They've already tried to implement temporary solutions until the issue is permanently fixed, like having players in the lobby invisible by default. (Not sure how that impacts CTF but just an example of stuff being done till then).

    Couldn't the BAC just be disabled for now? Its causing lag and isn't very accurate, its doing more harm than good and will keep on doing so until its improved a lot.

    Redstoner is still working on its development and needs to be used ingame in order for him to gauge how accurate it is, and how/where to improve it. Also keep in mind that I'm not 100% sure if it is BAC or not.

    I have been noticing that in the lobby there are invisible players and an increase in lag on CTF and MC-Build

    But i have had worse lag

    I get short lag-spikes, but otherwise everything seems to be fine. My ping is decent to the server, so I don't think it would be ping/ms lag in my case.

    If it were disabled, the whole of CTF would be overrun by the 1,000 hackers that Brawl had before knohax came from MCPVP. Although lag isn't great, I'd rather have it than several forcefielders and fly hackers camping the other team's spawn.
    (trust me I've seen it before, it was bad ;-; !)
