Asking for someone to be humble and willing to learn is a little hypocritical coming from you, don't you think?

 

You know what I hate? People who aren't mature enough to have a coherent debate who instead find the most relevant Bible passage and quote it as undeniable, untouchable, invincible truth. And I'm a Christian.

If you're going to join in a debate, Tom, please bring a sensible, reasoned argument, not a selectively chosen and carefully filtered Bible quotation.

A carefully filtered bible quotation combined with logical reasoning often boils down to sheer truth:

Ex: I said "hypocritical"
I could've said "remove the plank in your eye and then help your neighbor remove the speck in theirs," backed it up with the same reasoning, and still had a very valid point. You can't make claims with evidence and not reason with them. In fancy debate terms: You can't access your warrant.
