I'm sure that your complaining about these temporary reskins is bringing you lots of joy.

If you're more worried about winning meaningless games on the maps than enjoying them as they are for a couple days, you're really taking this game too seriously.

They're temporary themed maps. Complain all you want, your point is moot when they change back.

"it's only temporary, why speak of it?" so they don't make the same mistake next halloween, with their poor cobweb placements!
it's not about winning those meaningless games, it's about how we all feel about the 'update', not everyone enjoys running into those webs when recovering, capping, fighting someone else etc.

yea but people don't have to get so worked up about it to get the point across.. the mods who did the update have already acknowledged that they screwed up a of couple things

My point is,

Instead of making *****y threads and polls about the maps that comes across as a dislike of the aesthetics, instead at least attempt to make a well-reasoned argument as to why you dislike, and propose changes.

You'll notice that although Snowleak posted something similar to you, I did not comment on his thread because he reasoned his points well. I commented on yours because you were essentially *****ing about temporary aesthetics and some minor annoyances.

You could have made a thread saying "remove the cobwebs" and reasoned why, and I wouldn't have posted because, while my points above still stand, you wouldn't have been complaining but instead would have been making suggestions.

It's more that I attempt to point out flaws in reasoning, and usually if I am incorrect I will adjust my position accordingly.

I used to be a big advocate for archer instakills. I made an entire thread about them explaining why they should stay. I like to think I've grown since then, as any good rationalist should.

And for the record, I like to debate, not argue. I very rarely throw insults that aren't in jest or blatant sarcasm.

Tell @NomNuggetNom you dislike something, and you're complaining. Tell him you dislike something and why, and you're informing. Tell him you dislike something, why, and suggest a fix, and you're being helpful.
