I Joined mcpvp in 2011

Uh I miss mcpvp <3

 

Been a part of MCPVP from when there were only three kits before soup: Cultivator, Barbarian and Hermit.

I remember having to update the website then quickly tell my friends to join a server before it filled up about three seconds later.

I continued to play until it was on its last legs, just before Brawl took over. In my opinion, they have done a decent job in recent time, as at the end of MCPVP, there were about 20-30 people max to a game. Yesterday I was in a no-soup with 80 other players. Pretty cool to see it gaining popularity.

Nice to see so many old players like myself. Hopefully we can all contribute to make HG back to the point where it is a victory to just get into a server.

I guess you did not play until the last few days of MCPVP. After they have added those "One Hardcore Games round every 30 minutes" they had about 80 players online.

 

You forgot about me

 

I tailed off to study for my exams, so I didn't really notice the increase in players per server, it is nice to see that there were larger games towards the end!

I streamed almost every day at the end, I like to consider myself and my friend as the last streamers in the MCPVP era ;P

But that is probably a stretch

Because I never saw a single soup server until much later on and i remember there being no opitions apart from those kits.

Not entirely sure about soup but I know for sure it was there in 2012 and I'm positive about the kits. The classic scout fisherman barbarian.

I think that it has the potential to revive the Hardcore Games, recent developments have been very promising in my opinion, also the staff are very active, which is always a bonus

 

I've been part of MCPVP from Oct 2013 until the end of it. I was a member of the Sabs Clan and mostly I played Sabotage or MinecraftBuild. I met many good friends and had many wonderful memories from that time!
