Suggestion: Reduce Canadian prices of classes by 1 cent

    Right now, the Canadian prices for CTF classes is 3.34. Not a bad conversion from the USD 2.50 price.

    However, there is one slight issue with it. 3.34 just barely doesn't fit in 10, 20, and 30$. What do I mean by this? Basically, 10/3.34 is slightly less than 3. This means that with 10$ you're just 2 cents short of buying 3 classes. If you have 20$, you're just 4 cents short of getting 6 classes, and if you have 30$ you're 6 cents short of getting every class. I make most of my online purchases by buying prepaid cards, and I planned to buy 6 classes, but these cards only do 10$, 20$, etc. That means that unless I spend 30$ to buy 20.04$ worth of stuff (I could spend the leftover 9.96 on other stuff, but that's not the point), I won't have enough money to buy those 6 classes.

    Lowering the price from 3.34 CAD to 3.33 CAD is beneficial to both Brawl and the Player. Players like me who buy things with prepaid cards will have just enough money to buy an extra class, while Brawl will be able to sell an extra class to said players. They will lose 1 cent per class sales, but they will potentially make more sales. 5 classes at 3.34 means Brawl makes 16.70$, while 6 classes at 3.33 means Brawl makes 19.98$. It's a win-win for everyone.

    Canada probably isn't the only country that can benefit from this. There are likely other currencies that can neatly fit more classes into a specific budget if the price was reduced by 1-2 cents. I may look into it if I have more time but yeah.

    TL;DR - Reducing the price of classes by 1 cent allows people to buy more classes within neater amounts of money and could help Brawl make more money and allows Canadian players able to buy more classes. This 1 cent price drop could likely be applied to other currencies as well.

    I like that you did a bit of conversion and math instead of coming and whining about things. I like this idea. +2, but I can only +1 with forum ratings and such. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Better yet, why not just convert to a standard of pi for everything. Make em cost 3.14.

    @Plautius I think when you check out and choose PayPal you can choose your payment method (type of card, etc.). Not sure though as I haven't bought something from Brawl before

    When I read the title of this, I actually thought it was some sort of joke. But you make a good point. That's an annoying inconvenience and I think it should be changed

    Whether Brawl itself accepts prepaid cards isn't really relevant, you could put the prepaid card onto PayPay.

    Great idea though. Beneficial both to Brawl and Canadians.

    Welp they increased the price by 9 cents and now it's 3.43.

    This whole suggestion is now useless.

    *im just sad because the canadian price for csgo keys is 3.29 cad and 2.50 usd
