Hey guys, Altur here. Many months ago, I created a poll based off of to determine the general idea of what the community wanted Necro to be. This rework concept is based off of that poll while also incorporating a few other recent Necro ideas.

    Picture Overview:

    Current:

    • Iron Helmet
    • Golden Chestplate
    • Iron Leggings
    • Iron Boots
    • [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] (14 armor points)
    • Ranked #4 in armor
    • This is due because of this: if Necro's spawner was broken, it would be difficult for it to be successful again since mobs lose their buffs and spawner becomes UP. Necro's high armor and high steak effectively makes it a tank class.
    Reworked:

    • Golden Chestplate
    • Iron Leggings
    • Golden Boots
    • [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] (11 armor points)
    • Ranked #5 in armor (tied with medic)
    • Mobs in this rework are much more powerful and useful than original mobs, and, because of that, Necro can use them as a slightly OP meat shield. To balance that out, I made Necro have less armor without completely removing Necro's tank factor.

[IMG] Iron Axe w/ sharpness I (3.125 hearts of damage)
    • Mobs are much more powerful and useful than original mobs, and, because of that, Necro can use them as a slightly OP meat shield. To balance that out, I made Necro slightly (it was already a bit) more vulnerable to Assassin (by removing the sword), but added slightly greater attack power (deals the same damage as Engineer's pickaxe).

    [IMG] 6 Steaks

[IMG] Redstone Torch (Renamed to Mob Waypoint)
    • Your mobs will head towards whomever or wherever you point and left-click, as long as the location is within 20 blocks of you.
    • Left-clicking one of your mobs will select only it and your next mob command will only affect that mob. For example, let's say you have two magma cubes and a wither skeleton. You can assign the two magma cubes to go attack someone, and the wither skeleton to stay behind and protect you.
    • Right-click (cannot be placed btw) and all of your mobs will teleport to you. This has a 6 second cooldown.

[IMG] Magma Cube MHF Player Head (Renamed to Spawn Magma Cube)
    • Defense/Support
    • Tank Mob/Area-Control Mob/Utility Mob
    • Left-click one of your active Magma Cubes with this to despawn it.

[IMG] Wither Skeleton Mob Head (Renamed to Spawn Wither Skeleton)
    • Defense/Midfield/Offense/Support
    • Ranged Mob/Armor-Piercing Mob (in form of fire/wither)
    • Left-click one of your active Wither Skeletons with this to despawn it.

[IMG] Enderman MHF Player Head (Renamed to Spawn Enderman)

    • Midfield/Offense/Recovery
    • Speedy Mob/Anti-Projectile Mob (can dodge them via teleporting)
    • Left-click one of your active Endermen with this to despawn it.
    • Place a mob head on the ground, and after 3.5 seconds, its respective mob will spawn there. Mob heads can be broken in 1.5 seconds by enemy players. If a mob head is broken, it will not spawn its mob.
    • 3 mobs maximum on the field.
      • Amount of mobs available to spawn is shown in XP bar. For example, if you have 1 mob in the field, the XP bar will have 3 levels, signifying that you can spawn 3 more mobs.
      • By the way, if a magma cube has split into multiple magma cubes, those multiple magma cubes will still be counted (full-size magma cube = 1 mob; small-size magma cube = 0.25 mob; tiny-size magma cube = 0.0625 mob)
    • Mobs cannot be healed anymore.
    • Mobs can NO LONGER SEE INVISIBLE NINJAS.
    • When the Necro dies, his/her mobs die as well.
    Magma Cube
    • Size 3 (height and width is 2 blocks)(can split two times)
    • [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] (16 health + absorption II); [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] (12 armor)
    • Knockback Immunity
    • Attack Damage Attribute: 5 damage (2.5 hearts)
    • Inflicts custom slowness I + jump loss I (corrupt jump boost I) for 5 seconds.
    • Although Magma Cubes are slow, they are an excellent utility mob. As tanks, they can withstand up to 6 hits from an unenchanted diamond sword before splitting. Their sheer size and knockback immunity also enables them to block off areas temporarily. The combination of splitting upon death and infliction of mobility reducing effects makes Magma Cubes great for area-control too.
    Wither Skeleton
    • [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] (20 health)
    • Bow with Power V and Punch I; Arrows that inflict fire + custom wither II for 4 seconds
    • 3.5 hearts of initial damage
    • Cannot venture into 2-block high areas.
    • Wither Skeletons are powerful archers and can deal a heck of a lot of damage over time, especially to high-armor classes (although many of their shots may not be accurate). On the other hand, they are somewhat vulnerable if they are not protected by nearby allies or the Necro.
    Enderman
    • Max Health Attribute: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] (10 health)
    • Attack Damage Attribute: 6 damage (3 hearts of damage)
    • Movement Speed Attribute: 0.255 (as fast as speed I player running)
    • Cannot venture into 2-block high areas.
    • Endermen are fast and agile predators that can catch up to ANY class, including soldier and ninja. However, they have low health, and can be instakilled by Chemist crits, Ninja crits, and level 2+ Dwarfs. To make up for that, however, they can dodge (via teleport) nearly any projectile launched at them, including negative effect splash potions (eg. splash damage).
    Counter To
    • Engineer (hard)(turrets cannot target mobs)
    • Dwarf (moderate)(Dwarves more vulnerable to mobs due to their slowness)
    • Soldier (moderate)(wither + fire can deal damage through armor)(endermen can catch up to Soldier)
    • Archer (moderate)(endermen able to approach Archers easily and avoid their arrows)
    • Ninja (soft)(mobs can deal massive damage to Ninja, especially endermen)
    • Heavy (soft)(wither + fire can deal damage through armor)

    Countered By
    • Chemist (hard)(Chemists' splash potions can deal massive damage to multiple mobs)
    • Assassin (moderate)(Necro cannot block assassinate)
    • Elf (moderate)(Elfs' earth elements can deal damage to multiple mobs, and their pure elements can deal massive damage to large magma cubes)
    • Another Necro (moderate)(mobs cannot target other mobs, and if the Necro is nearby, will target him/her)
    • Ninja (soft)(Ninjas can now avoid mobs via invisibility)

Whew. That was a lot of changes. I believe all these changes will affect the game for the better and make Necro more interactive and fun to use. Let me know if you have any questions about any of these changes. Please, please leave legit feedback. Don't just say "Nice rework" or "This rework sucks". Explain your feedback and your reasoning.

Like it! You've worked hard on keeping it balanced and interesting, and I like how every mob's available from the start. The only thing I would say is that the redstone torch mechanics are a little bit complicated, it might be easier and more intuitive if it affected all mobs at once. You could always buff another aspect of the class to balance it.

One more thing - while the MHF heads look pretty cool, it's difficult to differentiate between them since they're all dark colours. Regular eggs would work fine.

I love it. But make sure that yo know what Necro means. Magma slimed are not necro, neither are the enderman (they seem to have souls, but idk.

How would you change the behavior of the mobs?

You mean mob AI tweaking? That might be difficult to change, but there are other things that can be done to make mobs useful. I added that Mob Waypoint, for example, so that mobs go exactly where the Necro wants them to go and they can't simply stray off since the Necro can teleport all his/her mobs back to him/her.

    @PanDaniel_

Magma slimes seem closer to Necro than normal slimes are because they are from the Nether, which is the Minecraft underworld, and the underworld is generally defined as death related or undead related. Endermen...yeah you might be right about that, but I decided to focus more on utility rather than on aesthetics.

    @lasertagfighter

By default, it does affect all mobs at once. However, I added the option of affecting one mob at a time by hitting them with the Mob Waypoint, then directing them.

That could possibly work out! If this gets more support, I'll add it.

I agree completely. The egg concept would make this a little better as well.

This sounds good. As for the necro class, I understand that the staff wants to take their time to get reworks, but I don't understand why no temporary buff for necro has been implemented as it is a total **** class right now...

    ...Nice rework. :]

Can mobs be placed everywhere? I'd rather not have a Magma Cube be in a small flag room or next to spawn.
If I were being chased by an Enderman, how persistent would it be?
    Can Wither Skeleton be headshotted?
If I did not assign a target to a mob, would it just attack any enemy player nearby?

Yes. But, you shouldn't have to worry too much about Magma Cubes in a small flag room or next to spawn because the greatest size deals low damage (2.5 hearts). The small size would probably only deal 2 hearts, and the tiny size, 1.5 hearts. Also, a ninja can easily bypass all of the magma cubes via invisibility.

Very persistant, unless that 1% chance of being affected by poison splash potion wins, if it is lit on fire (flint&steel), or if it somehow touches water. No worries, though. You can easily kill an Enderman in 1-2 hits, and they only deal moderate damage (3 hearts).

Magma Cubes and Wither Skeletons can be headshotted, yes. Enderman, however, will dodge the shot via teleporting (and their aggro may be turned on you).

Yes it will. If there are no enemy players around, then it will simply wander. If their wandering gets out of hand (zombie falls off cliff and magically survives), you can teleport your mobs to yourself.
All right. I'll add this egg concept later on today or tommorrow.
