Idea Pyro and its netf

Yis. I agree. Maybe iron or gold pants and boots. Just a little bit more now that is has become a more Miele dependent class.

 

@Pyrotheum does need to be nerfed...he's too OP.

 

I think the Pyro nerf didn't hurt him per se, but it changed it too much.

Imo they should make it a different class because its just a bulky assassin

 

The nerf was fair it doesn't need to be buffed up even more. :/

I kinda agree with this. I think at the very least though the armor should be given a level of Fire Protection. Maybe level 1-2.

 

I disagree. Buffing Pyro's armor before the updates are done and barely 24 hours after its rework is a premature and short sighted choice.

 

Yes, I think pyro definetly needs more armor now that it can no longer instant-kill. Also, anyone else notice more offensive pyros than defensive pyros after the nerf?

 

Or maybe the fact that so many people agree with this decision after this short period of time shows that something is truly wrong with that element of the class.

 

So you're saying that someone's disagreement doesn't matter, regardless of how logical it may be, because of popular opinion?

The reason why these proposals should be taken into careful consideration is because the full effects of the nerfs are not yet known and because more updates are coming as @NomNuggetNom has specified, which may render a Pyro armor buff completely unnecessary/useless.

 

Yes. I'm saying popular opinion should be taken into consideration because it is that which will make the server popular. And out of the hundreds of people and hundreds of games played by them using the nerfed class, if many express that it is u enjoyable and could be tweaked, we should listen.

 

Saying that popular opinion makes unpopular opinion meaningless and then saying that popular opinion should be taken into consideration are two different things. That said, you are completely right that Pyro would indeed need an armor buff if CTF were not going to receive further massive updates. However, seeing as more updates will be released in the very near future a band aid fix like a Pyro armor buff does nothing except calm a few people down for a week.

Point is, this is the wrong time to be having this discussion. We should be talking about how to rework and tweak classes after the updates are finished not after the very first one. Let the updates run their course before we start jumping up and down about how x, y, and z are broken and need to be fixed. That is what the subsequent updates are for.

 

I think this could help, but al it should do is add protection 2 or 3 rather than changing the armour otherwise it could change the feel of it.

Exactly. We are basically saying. "Guys in the next update we want pyro to have some better armour." But if we didn't mention this how would we know that it would have been added in any of the updates. It's better to let them know. I'm glade to see we were actually on the same page.

 

It sounded awfully like ningeek meant that Pyro armor should be buffed before the next update comes out. Anyway that is not what I'm saying. I am saying that buffing Pyro armor right now or in the next update is a poor and hasty choice because until all the updates have been out for a good while we cannot judge if Pyro will need an armor buff!
