Medic Tutorial

Medic:
Medic is a class with full gold armor. See here:

This is it's inventory layout:


Medic's sword does 5.25 (~/20) hearts of damage against a no-armor class (ninja).
It has 6 steaks and 5 snowballs (snowballs regen automaticly).

Medic's special ability is to regen teammates and give them their items back. It doesn't get any damage from fire, but watch out! from lava it does! And it also has water breathing.

Roles:
Offensive:
There are two ways of being a medic as an offensive role;
Being the flag carrier:
If you want to be able to get out with the flag the classes/kits which you need to worry about the most are ninja and assassin. There are ways of countering ninja and assassin; when seeing a ninja, try to throw a cobweb at it's head (not feet because it can pearl out), this kinda eliminates the ninja already, if wanting to kill the assassin, try block hitting/throwing a web at it's head (it can't hit you if you did so), there could happen two things using the web method: 1; The assassin dies because it already used it's assassinate, 2; it is still alive but you webbed his head and it's unable to hit you. If the second option happens hit the feet! This makes you rather invinceble from the assassin. And if there is a pyro def, just don't worry about it, you can rush threw it. So that's it, try having some people helping you after you got out of the flag though! there could be archers watching you !
Healing the flag carrier:
When a offensive player goes into the flagroom, try hitting him once, just once so it gets regen, then try killing the opposites team pyro, after it picked up the flag hit it twice so it also gets it's steak back. After that try slowing down enemies by using webs, it's easy to do so if you move a little to the left/right behind an enemy and throwing a web, it can easily spawn right infront of the enemy itself! This was basicly it, but don't forget healing the carrier after he got out the flagroom!
Defensive:
If you ask me, there is only one way of medic defending;
Healing defense, slowing enemies:
So lets begin with the healing; When you see the defense of your team getting attacked, first heal your team and then go attack the enemies, not the other way around! your teammates could die! And slowing the enemies, the first thing you could do is webbing the entrances, the second thing you could do is the same thing as with the healing of the flag carrier;

its not illegal to heal players in battle in matches, not sure where you heard that, its only illegal if its healing a medic

 

No the damage output is always ~/20 because one half heart is 1/20.
I will add the no fire rn.

 

Just for your info, medic could do that before but it got nerfed recently (not like anyone told us that they were gonna do that tho)
