Me as mage

Probably because you play the class. Everyone just says mage damage spams, when in reality they don't have a choice. Spam to people is about 3 shots, and you really HAVE to do 3 shots, waiting for flame spell and others.

 

You're kinda in a no-win situation with Mage. Bottom line is that most people on CTF will hate you lol, so learning how to hold your own against targeters helps a lot.

 

I define spell spamming as holding right click with the damage spell and constantly backing away from someone, making no attempt to use any other spells or spell combos.

 

I really hate you, but it's not your fault xD. I hate most good mages. It's just really annoying trying to kill a mage, and most mages kill me when I try for peace (cri). Oh and no, you don't spam

 

Dont really know tbh, if you only use one spell for most of the time (not including heal) then i'd call that spell spam. There's also spamming the flag for spells to keep ninjas from trying to cap, but I'd excuse that these days cuz ninja capping is annoying af now.

But yea, most people will hate you anyway cuz mage is hard af to kill cx Idk if you've ever faced a mage as a heavy or medic or something, but that is probably one of the most annoying fights you'll every be in, simply because you cant touch them. And if you somehow do, they'll just lightning you back and heal all of the damage you just dealt with the infinite health pool :I

I rarely get kills as mage. It's more like I help teammates get kills by weakening our enemies.

Well, seeing that you're open to advice, I'll give you this! Unless they have the flag or are an immediate threat to the flag, don't kill elves. Nothing makes a poor little elf want to hurl his computer through a wall more than a mage random-killing him. (It also doesn't help that lightning destroys and drains elf shields. Like, really? Mages don't even need that advantage against an elf.)

Mage is one of the classes that everyone enjoys being but hates being against, especially the pro mages that know what they are doing.

 

"Spell spamming" is just an excuse people use who are butthurt, I would ignore it. I pretty much mainly play the mage class and I've heard it all the time, but its dumb, so just don't listen to people. you cant "spell spam" as mage, its the point of the class.

xDDD but saying someone is "spellspamming" is such an ignorant take on the class. If the class is literally a spam reliant class then you can't say that they "spam spells" if that's how the class works. Its dumb.

 

I suggest that you retire and go back to truck sims, they are way better.
