    Okay? We'll test things more next time? You could have just suggested it without the attitude. Especially considering that wasn't even what I was trying to say? For the fourth time, I was talking about how easy the actually changing it, as in, 1 number for the chemist potions.

    Almost all of the crazy bugs from the update were caused by a failed deploy that borked our dependencies (ie they were not actually due to the update). The only other bugs were the dwarf one and engineer turret, which have both been fixed.

    Why remove the best nerf there was to engineer?

    I'm really loving the ignorance to how things work and the reaction to how everything isn't sparkly sunshiney perfect because of a few little bugs that were fixed not to far after release. Even huge games like league of legends have game changing bugs that make it out to the live game after going through the testing server they have with thousands of people. If a game as big as that can have bugs as big as they have had how do you rationally thing that a relatively small/medium sized server on minecraft with one coder could push through a patch with no errors or bugs.

    You suggested this, 44 posts into the quick fix-it thread, and even in that thread the reception was lukewarm at best. There were like 4 people saying it's a good thing, and it wasn't even brought up as an issue before you stated you planned on changing it.

    Are there more "people complaining" that I don't know about, or is this just "you and a few others' preferences added for your convenience"? Understand that the people complaining are likely a vocal minority and that the majority of (mostly casual) pyro players do not appreciate this change in the slightest.

    I've heard both sides complaining. Like I said, I also don't like when it happens so I thought it would be interested to TRY and see what it would be like. It's really not a huge deal like you're making it out to be. I already asked you for alternative suggestions if you didn't like it.

    Also I said that because you were unfairly accusing nom of adding the change because he "plays soldier" when in fact it was (as you pointed out), myself, who plays the class. Originally I wanted it to be a mod-only change so I could test it myself but that couldn't happen. Luckily, again, it's easy to change.

    Well, the average work day is about 8 hours. So if it took you an hour to do this. Maybe another 30min to an hour to test? So two hours on end. I expect too see 4 small updates every work day Nom!!

    Im just messing with you. I dont know you hours or if your actually being paid xD

    Considering CTF's history of the time it takes for things to change (Remeber how long it took for ninja's sword to be reverted?) can you really get upset with us?

    I wasn't getting mad, I was reminding people. And that was because we didn't know if we wanted to change the sword or not. It got reverted, then we kept changing between sharpness 4-6 multiple times in that period of time. Imagine that, but if were in this update at this time. We'd have suggested we revert it, played with it for the next week to see what was the best level and then left it - just like we did then. Yeah it took forever to just add a simple cap for dwarf, but in this period of time we'll see if we want to keep it at level 10 or change it. Same thing basically, just a different time period.

    This sometimes doesn't work. Could you take a look at it, Nom?

    Also, one more thing: is the Chemist weakness the 1.8 weakness, or the 1.9 weakness? There's a huge difference between both.

    Gosh at least they gave us an update. Btw have necros mobs finally been buffed?
    Otherwise good job this update. A few of the community problems have been fixed and I look forward to the next.

    Every time an update happens, everyone is getting upset with every little tweak and accusations fly everywhere. I would like to see people who calmly and without passive aggression or exaggerations state what bothers them. Hell, even better, who suggest a better way of fixing what has obviously been an issue to at least some people in its previous state.
    I like the update apart from the fire resistance. I don't think it encourages active chemist support, but rather makes chemists use the potions for themselves right before entering the flagroom. If you want chemist to be more actively used as a support class, I suggest you should decrease its capabilities in the other roles a little more.

    Hotkeying over to the pyro axe while holding down the right mouse button activates frenzy mode.

    I don't understand why making frenzies activation being changed to two clicks makes everyone so triggered. This little tweak is not a buff nor a nerf to pyro, its just to stop people from accidentally using frenzy and then being screwed. I can definitely confirm that I complained about the accidental frenzying.

    If anyone can say why this tweak is so bad without complaining about soldier in the process go on ahead.

    My opinion about the changes:

    Dwarf: Well it was just a question of time when i gets nerfed, but i think dwarf isw now quite underpowered especially against heavies and soldiers. And soldier is the main capping class.
    Pyro: This is the most disgusting and ridiculous change. You nerf pyro more and more instead of maybe changing the POWER of soldier. With these changes on the burning time combined with 2 clicks you need for frenzy its quite impossible to catch a soldier with the flag while burning. Maybe increase the damage while burning at least so it isnt such impossible to defend vs soldier?
    PLS NERF SOLDIER!

    It's also funny seeing people complain about medic being nerfed. Medic is a support class, it's not supposed to be able to pvp everyone and anyone at any given time. It's role is to help its team not to go out and kill everything.
